Something you may have missed (and my current theory on why Jace and Mel survived): - Right before the bomb hits in last season, you see some..runes? gilding? shine/glow on Mel's back. - The small area directly around Mel and Jace in the aftermath seems relatively unscathed compared to the rest of the Council Chamber. - Mel has a brief hesitation when Jace asks her (rhetorically) how he came out unscratched. Something hinky going on there, maybe some sort of protection magic or something? Something from Noxos? I'm hoping we'll find out more by the end of the season.
9:22 Is it random though? Is it random that Mel and Jace didn't have a scratch? Is it random that the floor wasn't cracked where they were standing? I suspect magical interference myself. Not a spoiler, just a theory Also the dude at the very end is named Singed. Love your reactions
yeah i was wondering about that too. We saw a blue light from Mel just before the rocket hit in EP 9, but it wasn´t mentioned again. I always thought that could have been her ultimate ability, but then people told me that show characters only get their ults though hextec.
I do feel horrible for Cait she had the chance to shoot Jinx in ep9 but decided not to take it because of Vi. Because of that her mother and some of the other council members died. She's not given enough time to grieve and is being pushed into becoming the new leader of house Kiramman. At the same time Vi just got out of prison and the only person who has shown her any kindness is Cait. She tried talking to Powder but it wasn't enough to get through Jinx. The rest are all blaming her for Jinx, even herself. So of course she's going to go against what she believes in and join the enforcers to try and fix things. It's all just a big mess.
This is a good summary. Everyone is making decisions that I can completely understand given their circumstances (even Jinx) and yet... yeah, it's all just a big mess.
The Powder tinted glasses doesn’t work coming off the season 1 finale. Jinx is choosing her choices and she needs to pay for them. Not everyone in Pilltover hates the undercity. I’m sure a lot of topside treats them like some do the homeless. Out of sight out of mind, which is still terrible.
Dat Arcane brainrot is hittin i gotta watch all the reactions lol
Definitely sounding better!

Jenny S01E01 "people say i will love it, are they lying to me?"
Jenny S02E01 "I will defend Powder/Vi till the end!"
Just another fantastic examples of the parallels and callbacks this series creates. 😂
