Atlas is a locomotion platform though, it wasn’t at all made for expressing emotions.
Mesmer can’t walk yet, and we’re still a ways away from being able to make a true human shape walk naturally.

Each has its wonderful gift of information for future generations.
Atlas - dynamic & acrobatic bipedal movement + balance
      Ameca - advanced facial expressions
And there’s plenty other robots built with different main focuses. :3 one day I hope everyone can combine their knowledge and create one that has the best of all.

Honestly, what they have going on at Disney world and Land...is more impressive, have you seen the Giant avatar which doctor they created for the ride? It moves far more realistically and it's huge. The thing looks like a real avatar.

For the peeps saying that they don't need to look like humans! This is true! I will say, if they figure out how to make them look like humans, with how insanely intricate we humans are, anything could become possible! That's just my 2 cents, carry on and have an electric day!

It's scarry not because it's realistic, but because it isn't. Eyes unfocused, slow and "robotic" movements of the arms, no breathing, no balancing, no emotions like smiling. The man is always in motion, moving his upper body, face muscles, expressing with hands. And always focusing his eyes on something
