I inherited my dads copy he bought on release in South Africa the year I was born. Still have it to this day and now at the same age he was when he bought it, I always hear something different in the tracks I didn't before. That, for me is a what seperates the great from the good. This is a classic, and I intend to have it for at least another 30 years!
Totally agree! Every track is better than the one before. My CD is always in my car...and I still have my original cassette. LOL Best CD for cleaning too! 💗💗
My daughter asked just the other day: “what time is it?” And I burst into this. The whole family looked at me blankly, so I had to pull out PFOK to play it to them :-D
I remember the day I had heard about Chris Barron's vocal cord paralysis back in 1999. My heart was shattered, as I am a vocalist myself andi spent A LOT of time singing along with the first 3 albums. Thank the vocal gods for giving Chris back his amazing Voice! He's STILL got it!
Friggin amazing how much space they can take up with just 3 pieces, but then the beauty still found in the areas they leave empty... which always gives their stuff a real funk feel!!! Such a great band!
I sing this all the time in 2022 with my 2 year old daughter, she loves it just as much as I do! I shout what time is it and she starts laughing and we have a good dance in the kitchen. Such a great song this one.
I love these guys as a young to mid-teen and never really could put my finger on it as to why. Now after almost 30 years since PFOK I finally understand, every one of these guys are incredibly talented and just so , so funky!
The original formula sounding better than ever! Tragedy that the bass wasn't this prominent in the OG mix. If someone asked me to describe the Spin Doctors: Bluesy, but not blues. Funky, but not funk. Jammy, but not jam band. These guys are their own thing and put on a great live show!
Retrospective, loved your 90's music, and I'm happy you're all still healthy enough to at least Zoom Jam from your own recording spaces. I had song lyric flashback that "it's not late, late, just early, early" I'd like to hear more "classics" reinvisioned from 30 years of age. Getting old isn't a bad thing at all, you just get wiser and more perfected.
Why am I just finding this treasure trove of videos now??? These are incredible, and this performance just proves how timeless Eric and the Spin Doctors truly are!!!!!
One of my favorite songs. Definitely has that southern rock groove to it. That Macon Georgia flow. This is definitely one of the most underrated bands that came out of the 90s. Glad to see y'all still got it. Hell, I think y'all sound better now. Rock in brothers \m/
Every one of these Zoom recordings are so much better than the album and those were awesome. More energy, very tight, smooth, just great. Gleaming the cube for sure.
I played in a very funky band in Minneapolis and this was the only cover song we did. The Fineline staff loved it so much they requested that we play it twice. Spin Doctors straight up rip. Love you guys.
You guys fucking ROCK. I miss my childhood now. Pocket Full of Kryptonite definitely was one of the best rock albums of the 90's, back when there was still a ton of good rock.
Legendary band. The Pocket full of Kryptonite album has the best snare drum sound ever recorded. Especially on the European edition with the 3 live tracks at the end. YO MAMA’S A PAJAMA SHE GOING DEEP DEEP DEEP DOWN SESAME STREET
Some of my favourite driving music from my younger days. It sounds as fresh now, as it did when it was released. The groove is insanely infectious. Modern rock could take a lesson from Spin Doctors. Well done, gentlemen.
they were just in my town for the Cheerwine festive, they put on one hell of a performance. there was an entire ocean of people there just to see them play.
God Damn, sounds better now than when it was first released. Thanks gents for keeping us entertained through difficult times. Hope to see you touring the UK in the future. 👍👍👍👍👍
This was it, this was on the free demo! I still four thirty every time someone asks what time is it! I have to thank you again... I can’t thank you enough for what you did. This is my favorite Spin Doc tune...
"...A President; he sweat thru his talcum..."...wha? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Most awesome, men! Hard to resist not coming back for another round of this performance of this song...
Omg !! One of the first bands I ever saw live in the 90s down in AL. big spring jam !! Definitely one of the reasons I started playing bass after I heard this awesome music !! Love you guys !
I saw you guys in Tampa when I was a teenager, long ago. I still remember meeting you guys outside afterwards and getting autographs, and its still one of the highlights of my youth. You guys are tight as ever. Also, cat butt 4:24
This has to be my favorite "Spin Doctor" song. It's one that sticks in your head and you can't get it out. I actually don't want to get it out and that's not "So,so sad"!!!!!!!
So great to see you, guys! I hope you all are well. I saw you 1993 (?) in Hannover. Supported by Gin Blossoms. It was such a great show. Keep safe and healthy. Hope to see you once again in Germany!
Answers my question perfectly. Now I expect to find the whole album on here. Doesn’t even sound bad on the iPhone alone. Can’t wait to find and plug in the headphones. My daughters were watching sesame st when this album came out. While watching with them one morning you guys were on there. I thought it was really cool you guys did that. Looked like you had a good time paying it forward. Can’t say thank you enough for doing this. The bands today just do not have any soul anymore. Just my opinion. Other than Foo Fighters there are no real bands anymore with this kind of originality. You guys were and still are the real deal. My Bic lighter is in the air lit and demanding an encore.
Pocket Full Of Kryptonite is one of the best rock albums of all time. Totally solid all the way through.
I inherited my dads copy he bought on release in South Africa the year I was born. Still have it to this day and now at the same age he was when he bought it, I always hear something different in the tracks I didn't before. That, for me is a what seperates the great from the good. No doubt about it!!! 🎸 🤘
Agree. Like back in black, the Cult Electric, Boston any album. Every song is awesome
Super mega de acuerdo :)
Totally agree! Every track is better than the one before. My CD is always in my car...and I still have my original cassette. LOL Best CD for cleaning too! 💗💗
I used to ask my wife 'what time is it?' every day at 4.30. That madness went on for years
Bahahahahahahaha me too!!
This was also a recurring joke between myself and my daughter and became a sneaky way of introducing her to great music.
Hahahahha meee 3
I'd just say 4.30 no matter what time it was! HAHAHAHA! ;)
My daughter asked just the other day: “what time is it?” And I burst into this. The whole family looked at me blankly, so I had to pull out PFOK to play it to them :-D
For thirty years now, this song has never failed to make me smile. Thank you to these four fine gentlemen for that rare gift.
Gentlemen, the entire band is sounding fantastic! I hope y'all enjoying doing this as much as I enjoyed watching it!
That bass line just goes on and on - what a fabulous performance, technique and tone. Effortless all round, but MAN, that bassist GROOVES!!!!
Friggin amazing how much space they can take up with just 3 pieces, but then the beauty still found in the areas they leave empty... which always gives their stuff a real funk feel!!! Such a great band!
GD the bassist absolutely CRUSHES it on this track
I sing this all the time in 2022 with my 2 year old daughter, she loves it just as much as I do! I shout what time is it and she starts laughing and we have a good dance in the kitchen. Such a great song this one.
💪🔥This lyric has been repeating in my head for....DECADES 🔥💪
Aaron Comess! The King of Pocket.
He looks like he’s pissed that someone’s playing drums. Like if he catches the kids he’s gonna give em what for.
I still listen and this guys are awesome, one of the best albums that I´ve finding
I’m guessing the thumbs down is a jealous bass player.
Or somebody who thinks it's late and not early....
LOL. probably
😆
An anthem for the habitually tardy..."I'm not late...Naw, naw" 🤣
What else left to say...Spin Doctors are & ever will be one of the best bands on the planet! Period.
I love these guys as a young to mid-teen and never really could put my finger on it as to why. Now after almost 30 years since PFOK I finally understand, every one of these guys are incredibly talented and just so , so funky!
same
same same
Sounds better than ever! So much from a three piece band and one vocalist!

Mark.Your killing it on this song. Love it brother.
I've ALWAYS loved this damn song!!!
Why am I just finding this treasure trove of videos now??? These are incredible, and this performance just proves how timeless Eric and the Spin Doctors truly are!!!!!

THIS ABSOLUTELY MADE MY DAY!
It's so awesome to see you guys still killing it together after all these years.
You guys fucking ROCK. I miss my childhood now. Pocket Full of Kryptonite definitely was one of the best rock albums of the 90's, back when there was still a ton of good rock.
coolest bassist ever, never cracks a smile hahha
Eric!! Your appearance in IFC Z ROCK WAS AWESOME!
Too good. Just too darn good...
One of my fav songs!
Awesome! I agree! This entire record is awesome! Listened to it all the time when it first came out, still have it on CD.
My fav Spin D song! Along with Cleopatras Cat!

Watching them play live is a joy
Very cool, sounding great to me Spin doctors, thanks!!
This is so joyful, love it
This brings me back to so many great times. Mind blown. And Subbed.
I really dig the mix on these zoom vids.. It just seems to hit harder or something? Whatever it is, I freaking love it!
Some of my favourite driving music from my younger days. It sounds as fresh now, as it did when it was released. The groove is insanely infectious. Modern rock could take a lesson from Spin Doctors.
Well done, gentlemen.
One of my favorites song ever! From Venezuela in my youth, I enjoyed Spin Doctors, specially this song!
they were just in my town for the Cheerwine festive, they put on one hell of a performance. there was an entire ocean of people there just to see them play.

How can someone dislike this? Can I like it twice?
The amount of funk on display here is outstanding.
They are an amazing band. Not one standout. All of them are so good.
Ooooooooooooooooooooh WHAT TIME IS IT?!
I love everything about this song. This whole album is so good!
One of my favorite SD songs of all time!!!
Perfect mix of funky groove and heavy rock... one of my favs on the Pocket album!
What a fantastic band.
Omg !! One of the first bands I ever saw live in the 90s down in AL. big spring jam !! Definitely one of the reasons I started playing bass after I heard this awesome music !! Love you guys !
Love that love that. Post chorus "it's my Bread and butter chords." freaking heavy sounding 🖤

2020 was better because of this pocket full of kryptonite anniversary ❤️

It's just so fucking awesome. I loved it then. I love it now. Excellent players all around.
The singer and guitarist are on fire.....
So loose but so solid. I pulled this disc today in my office. I now have gone down the rabbit hole of your music.
Love it!! This CD is always in my car. Best Jam Rock! So sad I missed you in Batavia NY. Hope you swing by Buffalo NY soon.🙏🙏🤞
