Every city, county, and state needs to be cracking down on these scams.
Agree but every police dept has excuses like First Amendment, more important things to tackle around town, or unless the property owner asks to have them removed, there’s nothing police can do. But stuff like this is theft by deception. They need their butts hauled to Jail!
Or just take there money they collect n donate to Americans

I give them fake money that looks real.
That way when they try to go pay for something they’ll get caught for trying to pay with fake money, that way they can get caught and arrested for using fake money.

Not always. There are pan handlers that genuinely like to pan handle even though they don’t get any money. We get a lot of those where I live. It’s like they love the act of begging for money.

im sure everyone remembers all the afgans that were panhandling everywhere all summer at all different highway exits...and now they are gone havent seen them in a month probably went to a city where they can get a free hotel room and food im glad they're gone though and hope they dont come back

This is so wrong Ive seen this going on for a longtime where I live in Salinas, Ca. They also go to cities nearby there signs will say they need help for medical bills for a kid fighting cancer or for a funeral. I always thought what parent would be out here while there child is sick. I’ve worked in a hospital for over 20 years I know there are many ways they can get assistance with medical bills and if your on medi-cal they cover it all. They should be ashamed of themselves and arrested.

Why police didn’t arrest those people
You can look and tell if a person really needs help standing on the corner. They have weeks' worth of dirt on them. These other folks are cleaner looking with clean clothes and hair cuts etc. They will not get my money.
