People I've seen that have some of these dioramas. , after you see it together it sure makes a difference.
I think they'd do well to make a Lois figure. You can make some cool scenes with this level of craftsmanship.
Yeah, the only Lois figures I'm aware of are the old Silver Age DC Direct Lois (which I'd like, but she looks like she's from the 50's so very period specific), and the DC Direct Superman The Animated Series Lois, and she's super small. I use a wrestling Stephanie McMahon as a modern Lois, but it wouldn't match with this guy.
Entertainment earth just reissued this figure I was lucky enough to pre order it!
Nice! I didn't know that was a thing.
Hey, it may be a weird question, but does the Reeve-Mezco head fit on the mafex hush superman?
I think it would be too big
I can try later if you remind me
At work now
Mine arrived today. So glad I managed to get one in UK, as it's more rare here.
I can only imagine what that cost you...
@@dHuntersReviews I was lucky actually. Cheaper than rrp, £155. I count my blessings!
Very nice
Just received mine today. Absolutely love it. Only negative... wish the cape extended down to the knees. From the pictures that I have seen, seems like that would be a bit more accurate. This is a phenomenal figure for any Christopher Reeve: Superman lovers out there. I grew up with him, this will always be the truest and most pure incarnation of Superman for me.
Yeah, great figure, my only complaint is how his suit has little holes all over it like something someone knitted. I think the Neca one overall looks slightly better.
I love the casing for this figure. Great review
Excellent packaging
I like the neca more just because of the proportions
I think I agree at this point.
The cat burglar thing you did , I was wanting to do that with the Hottoys Superman I've got. You made it look good . I was going to have him standing up normal with dude crawling on the ground so if you tilt your head you feel like you're watching an old Batman movie.
I think I could’ve done it better, but it was pretty difficult to do, I could not get his suction cups to attach to the cardboard building like I was hoping
But thanks, I definitely remember that scene from the film, epic and entertaining
I’d love to see a picture of what you’re talking about
OMG...I HAVE TO GET THAT FIGURE!!!
He's great!
I’m not interested in anything besides 6-7 inch scale.
@@dHuntersReviews For sure, I'm the same way, unless the figure is a Predator, Bane, Darkseid or KGBeast
I just mean Sideshow are 1:6 scale
@Picard sucks For sure I'll be looking for it
Very nice figure. I want to ask you if you buy your background dioramas or if you make them ?
I like the diorama at the beginning when you had him in a flying pose in front of a city scape. I'd like to have that more than any of this stuff.
Good interview , huge collection
The background for the main part of the video is the San Diego Comic Con exclusive Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Street Scene Diorama
The city background he was flying in front of is the cardboard top part it comes with
@ 5:44 that comes with it ? Dang man that is so cool. I like that teenage turtle city though.
@@dHuntersReviews Thank you for replying. Yeah I can't believe nobody else is showing that part in their reviews.
@@dHuntersReviews oh yeah , I have the Neca but the Mezco is on the way. From what I see though I think the Mezco looks better.
It comes with the Neca diorama, yes.
Reeve would be so proud of Henry Cavil
Agreed.
It’s funny to see them side by side because the heights aren’t that far off. Either the NECA was too short, or Mezco too tall.
Which is odd because Neca is typically 7 inch scale, Mezco, 6.5 inch scale, yet they are pretty ouch the same height
Bring on the mezco 89 Batman… hopefully it begins to ship soon…
I think it's still a little ways out.
I love my Superman good review
Me too, thanks.
Excelent review, I hace the dame problem with the cheast
What problem was that?
@@dHuntersReviews the chest is very noticeable, sorry
Mezco knock it out of the park when it comes to accessories, but I just don't like there figures always look short and stumpy to me
Yeah, accessories on point, wish he was slightly taller, sometimes the cloth outfits just don’t look very good, like they don’t fit quite right
@@dHuntersReviews ye I completely agree or come loose at the seems
reeve not reeves.. reeves is the last name of the Superman show of the 1950's
Corrected
I even googled it to be sure
And still got it wrong
It looked so wax-y..
It looks pretty good in person
