It's wonderful to have some educated and enthusiastic commentators!! Watching tournaments used to be like pulling teeth. Thanks Guys!!
in a year, everyone will be a JJ clone. lol
Now they need to follow up with some educated and enthusiastic CAMERA PEOPLE. They show too many camera shots/angles that nobody wants to see in place of the ones that EVERYBODY wants to see.
Michaela Tabb had one of the greatest racks in the industry.
James Aranas, my new idol. Keep it up. Good shooting stance and stroke!
Stay fit and healthy. Huwag magpapataba. Pangit sa isang tirador ang mataba o malaki ang tiyan, gaya nina Buddy Hall, Chris Melling, Tony Ellin, steve Mizerak.
Mabuhay ang Pinoy!
Yep they lose and act as they don’t care. Camera time seems to be the most important thing so they can show off their new hair style. Aranas and players like him are the future.
I'm only watching to see Ms. Tabb!
Philippines next generation.
Dodong Diamond. He beat SVB too 😊
And svb has beaten him, now what?
@@cry_now_laugh_later you didn't get the thought innit?
@@richkid2667 Why don’t you try rephrasing that
I follow pool all the time and I never heard of Jimmy Reed
They were bost playing like beasts on the table ,the f
Safety battle is when chris turned it on and james was performing very well also
double D for the Dunk!
Michaela Tabb is still stunning
Dont the 2 and 3 ball have to be racked in the corners?
wow, i like the new shot clock rule.
people don't shoot slow to cheat their opponent, it's just the amount of time/looks they need on the table to think things over. some think more, some think less. limit the time for thinking, fine, that's good for the audience. but the countdown can really screw up the stroke if you can't handle being pressured into shooting. this new rule fits into how pool players actually play the game. some have a longer routine, some shorter. but if they get up, they get penalized because that becomes thinking time, not shooting time.
what the hell were those two misses in the first rack🙀
They still human mate
@12:30..them pocktets are massive, hits the cushion 6 inches away from the pocket and still goes in.
It's more about potting angle, spin on the queball and cloth rather than the pockets
@gish you don't play much pool, do you?
@@ruskyhrahsel7723 No🙂
Tough to listen to George with Jones in house imo
You know it’s okay to put who’s playing in each match in the description right?
Title is more appropriate
Is that Michaela TABB?
Love Philippines to the finals,,,😁😁😁😁😁😁
Excellent players.
I like melling more because he is more mental player. I love him
the thing is he lost and not even close
Has aranas won a world title?
I love the USA, but I think a USA - Philippines Mosconi cup would not go our way......agree?
Bill Morgan I agree. Philippines is excluded in the Mosconi Cup. Otherwise they will have to call it the Reyes Cup. Thats how good the Filipino players are.
@@arnelpijuan7618 No argument from me. I wish some of these players would become US citizens so we can spank Europe with more frequency. I wish Johann Chua, Carlo Biado, James Aranaz, Jeffrey Ignacio and Jeffrey DeLuna would become USA citizens!
Bill Morgan Thank you Bill for that compliment. But I know there are equally good American pool players. Im a Filipino but one of my favorite players is Tyler Styer. His style is very similar to my top favorite player, James Aranas.
@@arnelpijuan7618 I think if Mr Aranas played Mr Styer 100 times....Aranas would win 85.....
@Tixe 100 The USA should challenge the PI......if you want to get better, you have to play the best.
My daddy was in the Phillipines at Clark Air Field in WW2...he never told me, but I overheard him talking to a fellow veteran about killing Japanese soldiers by ground support from the air. He didn't talk about the war to me.
Chris Mellings 1st and 2nd scratch. Thats literally me on 8 Ball Pool mobile game. The entire parts of the table its able to hit, and it goes in a pocket….its like wtf….
I know the one announcer is Jeremy Jones, anyone know the other gentleman's name?
I’m sure chris played in a Leeds United shirt a few years ago.....that will do me 👍
The cue ball has triangles on it not diamonds LOL!
Did he say Dennis Cornholio?
Got to give Chris Miller a lot of credit, he was playign really well in Chinese 8/9 ball I know, but that just shows that different type of shots and that stuff just doesn't necessarily work everywhere, for all those snooker/chinese 8 ball arm chair players who think logically that it would only mean they would destroy all other forms of pool. Just not the case. Anyways Melling great player one of my favorites.
dodong diamond for the win
I didnt know Aranas was from Philadelphia.
Why shot too rocket speed Melly..?? THe first rack onlly two ball leave ..
On serve? When I break I don't want to serve it to my opponent. It's not a volley game.
Too many ads!
I didn’t see a single one
Melling is being lazy because some shots he is missing I can't believe ....he is a great pool player I know and much love
I wonder if melling ever uses a close bridge.
Yes he does
52:00 ??? He pot right ball WTF
Yes, he potted the right ball (losest on the table) but he didn't call that pocket. In 10 Ball you have to call every shot.
James played well he is young..like me and how I play
whos the real magician now?
The only one who ever really was: Efren "Bata" Reyes.
@@marginality270 nah
Always aranas why not deserved
Two things; first Jeremy Jones should commentate every match and secondly Michaela Tabb should be in a bikini...
Is James wearing a hairpiece?
No, it's just his hair. He colored it
Chris looks unhealthy. I'm a bit concerned for him.
I second Miscellaneous who said he really liked the new shot clock rule. I really like it too. You get a certain amount of time to get down on the shot and then you can shoot when you're ready. Makes all kinds of sense. I think they should call "balks" in professional pool--it drives me nuts when Alex P. gets down on a shot and then gets back up *several times* on a single shot. Sometimes even easy ones! It's like a form of the yips.
Melling understimate the young filipino guy. Also other commentators here cant believe that a dyed haired filipino guy won against the british magician.
I didn't get that impression from the commentary.
How does a pro fuck that up?
Chris: Please, please, change your diet. Look into low carb (keto) and carnivore. It will change your life.
Damn bruh let the man live
@@jakedemedeiros9978 Carnivore is a great way to live. I'm 73, discovered I was pre diabetic two years ago. Went keto, then carnivore, down 60 pounds. Doc says my blood work is like a 20 year old.
This was me hitting balls a few years ago, when i was pushing 250:

christ is 40 years old
but he looks 60.
Nahhh...Christ died when He was 33.

Easy shot but not finish oh
These commentators are terrible. They give a lecture on every shot. They make watching the match, drudgery. Karl Boyes and Chris Melling are way better players, and way better commentators.
Next time i think i should join this tournament after seeing this pro 18:25
He drew the ball almost 9 foot for the two. It decreases your accuracy when you hit that hard
I think you have never miss a shot right
The younger one is a master of bad positioning and recovering from it. Very inconsistent player. But he tries very hard, also.
