Ah stop will ya, thousands of years of rich cultural history and this made you proud to be Irish 😂😂😂. It's complete nonsense all dressed up in an American stereotype of what Irish people look like.
Still great dance tune. Dad was Irish although most of the time he never danced and was grumpy and never bothered with St Patricks but did like a laff when younger 😂
The sample is from 'Music From a Found Harmonium' by Penguin Cafe Orchestra. This song also is a good example of sidechain compression. Similar effect is used in Titanium by David Guetta
no this here is the original. there was a cover by singer songwriter called patric street, who covered this joint far away in the end of the 80s. then came the penguin cafe orchestra and did their version of it. think they all just covered this great electronic dance tune.
@@Escalate90 Penguin Cafe Orchestra, founded by Englishman Simon Jeffes released Music for a Found Harmonium in 1984. Patrick Street covered the song in 1990. Steve Mc released Paddy's Revenge around 2008 sampling Music for a Found Harmonium
Still a tune 2024 🎶🎶

@@strawberrykicker2 it's as Irish as barrack Obama .

The original video from the time that was in my favourites was taken down, at a guess, around the same time this was uploaded last year.

The original was written by an Englishman . It’s about as Irish as the queen ……
