Malume, what is your opinion on rewriting matric? The teachers at my school often say that it's a bad idea and that one should rather do N-courses in college. But I'm sure no one wants to walk around with a level 2 or 3 on their statement. What would your suggestion be?
I’m upgrading my matric after 6 years, it’s been hard but I have faith it’s gonna work out. And trust me it’s not a bad idea, don’t listen to people just do what’s best for you.
The best thing to do is upgrading as i see it but that differs with the circumstances around your life, for instance can you sacrifice a minimum of 3-5 hours of study a day without being disturbed and self discipline together with a a strong drive which i believe u can only have if you have a goal that matters to you like life and death serious😊. Its hard but it is worth it and the joy it brings afterwards knowing that u don't have any regret of not trying. Wish you all the best...your teachers are correct though because they might be probably judging from what they seen working for most students in your position. I completed my matric in 2020 and i went back to gr11 last year and now I'm doing my final exams and I'm more relaxed and confident compared to my 2020 exams
fellow 2024 upgrader here. my advice strongly pray about it , if you still feel that an upgrade is going to be for you , then go ahead its your marks your life. dont listen to anyone who may sat " ugh your marks wont change " that is absolute bulllll. take it from me .wink
I personally know someone who was upgrading last year and know he's studying data science so tell me would you rather go around with N6 or a degree in data science?

it really depends on your dedication and which facility you choose to help you with the subjects that you are rewriting
