A new software and firmware update arrived last week. With it came new features (e.g. voice control, more position options -> sectors) and fixed some things when saving exercises. This is what I first noticed.
How much have you improved thanks to this robot?? What have you improved in most (loops, smash, blocks, backhand/forehand)? I just started a table tennis club in my home town, and maybe it is a good idea to buy a robot? I myself need to improve on my forehand, but it is hard without beeing served consistent shots, if you know what I mean..
I improved a lot thanks to the robot. If you know in which segments you need to improve and how you want to achieve it, the robot can play a key role here. You can customize exercises to accomplish your goal. Also, you can see one of my training session here -> ua-cam.com/video/X2GbhVn6xXE/v-deo.html
How do you adjust it so that the spin relative to ball speed is "normal", and how do you quantify that so that you can always default to it? I had a Newgy robot for years that wasn't useful because at any throw speed the spin was unnaturally fast.
Hey, this is the top model (amicus prime) of Butterfly's robots. You have also amicus start, expert and professional. With prime you get an android tablet and a small controller with which you control the robot. With start, expert and professional models you only get one big controller without the tablet. With the tablet you get an android butterfly application which you can also install on any other android device. The performance is great as you can see in the video.
Hey it’s a bit late but how is your experience with it going ? Additionally I’m not even near a pro player or a very good competitive player, I do however play table tennis at the university level (do you recommend the prime one or the medium one) thanks
yes, with the table I think it will. only I'm not sure if you will need another net. I see that Butterfly clip net comes with the table and I'm not sure if there is something on it that you can hook the robots net on.
hehehe :) I made a video of the entire training with the robot. From simpler exercises, to more complicated ones. You can see it here: ua-cam.com/video/X2GbhVn6xXE/v-deo.html

Hello. I have a problem with my amicus expert: it will throw 2 balls at once every 5-6 throws. Can you give me a solution?
Thank you
hi. check that the head wheels screws has not loosened
Very good training 🙂
thank you. it was the first training. this one is much better: ua-cam.com/video/X2GbhVn6xXE/v-deo.html
greetings from DE
hi, does the robot comes with the big net? (not the net in the middle of the table) thanks
Yes. This net you see in the video comes with the robot, as well as a large bag for transporting the robot.
Hi. I am interested in buying one. Everything still ok, software and durability? Any technical issues so far? Thanks
Everything still ok. All I needed to do was fasten the screw on the head so far in these 9 months because it loosen up a bit and that's it.
@@DarioGrd Thanks a lot
@@adrianvescan9429 no problem
what means the numbers bei den ball by the configuration?
the number indicates the speed, green arrow the amount of topspin, and red arrow the amount of backspin
Can you show a video of the voice control please. I'd like to see what that actually does
the robot will play the set exercise once and then stop, waiting for a voice command to continue
How much you payed for those Model?
You can find price and description for this ( en.butterfly.tt/amicus-prime-6526.html ) and other models on the butterfly web shop.
hey my table is the BTY compact 19, do you think this robot would be compatible?
yes, with the table I think it will. only I'm not sure if you will need another net. I see that Butterfly clip net comes with the table and I'm not sure if there is something on it that you can hook the robots net on.
Thank you very much. This video explains so much. Can you do a clip pretending to be half as good as you, then a quarter as good as you. Please.

@@DarioGrd thanks - i've been researching robots for our retirement community.
Jel ti se isplatilo kupiti tog robota
definitivno. pogotovo sad dok su svi klubovi bili zatvoreni i nije se imalo gdje ni s kim igrati.
Can you adjust the heads hight?
Yes, you can. But not through the app, it needs to be adjusted manually and then calibrate the robot through the app.
How match
What poor editing in the beginning. Maybe im just in a bad mood????
