I would never want to live a mile up... so THIS is the kind of apartment I would want. - Just high enough for a good view, and in the shadow of iconic buildings.

I knew the people who lived here! Super nice couple from Maine, Florida, and NYC but they sold this place.

Love it but the video was way too short.

Guess I'm more of a traditionalist than I thought. I don't see the point of being a mile up, especially in our climate in the North East which will make an uncovered terrace or balcony unusable for half a year. People I've known who have had South-facing units with balconies looking over Lake Ontario, soon realized that the space was useless because of strong cold winds coming off the Lake for most of the year. When form trumps function, a show place becomes no place. A lay out with defined spaces gives a more homey feel. Those spectacular pent-houses in the clouds have all the charm of an air-port lounge. The kitchen and dining area in this unit are just gorgeous and well-designed. There are walls where you can actually hang art-work. Gracious proportions and wide hall-ways give it more of a feeling of a house.

I'm beginning to think "with views of Central Park" isn't so special any more - there really are a lot of video tours of such apartments on UA-cam.

Yes. ...and in a good way. It looks like the most sophisticated residences in the best decorating magazines of the late 60s. I can't imagine a look that's more erudite, serene, and comfortable. And it's leagues ahead of most apartments at 15CPW.
