We all have have those tough days but I have found that motivational videos like this help to get through those dark times. ❤️ sending you lots of love and positivity.
Hi Joe, im 40yrs old from a country way out there in the Pacifc Islands known as Papua New Guinea. My life has spiralled into a deep hole riddled with depression, personal and health issues and just don't know how to get myself out. Then i listened to you and a ray of light cut thru my dark world. It gave me hope and helped pulled me out..so i am slowly pulling myself thru...im slowly showing up and putting in the work. If EVER you doubt if your content is really helping anybody out there, brother I AM here to tell you that you helped me. Thank you and keep up the great work.
I used to be homeless and suicidal. I gave up trying to be comfortable and decided to just put my all into what I know I can do. I started a business last year and now I'm on the way to owning my house and I'm making more than the average 31 old thru my business. Also I'm a musician and now I'm creating easily. Life gets better.
@wise guy Listening to videos like this daily. Repeating what I wanted every day and knowing I could get 8t if I stayed focused. Focus is the most important part. Just staying aware on your greatness! You can do whatever you want brother. Just decide what you want, write it down and pray on it everyday or meditate. You'll reach your goals!
Watched this video 3 years ago and it completely changed my path. I was miserable at my graveyard shift and out of shape. UA-cam happened to recommend this to me one night and from then on I decided I was going to be unstoppable. Ran for 2 years straight and ended up qualifying for the Boston Marathon. Got a great job now too. Pushing myself every single day changed my mind and my life so much. Thank you so much for this video!
You make the time for what you're passionate about. I work an 8-5 job, with MMA classes from 6-8 and I get home and go to bed, I wake up at 4:30 every morning on days when I go to work and workout (lift weights) to get everything I want done in the day since I don't have the time to do it, so I make the time. I do not like waking up early, but force myself to and that's what discipline is.
I do simililar! I work 2 different shifts: 9-5.30 or 11-7.30. Days when I start early I come home have my workout, eat, shower and go to bed. Days when I'm on a late shift I get up early, work out and go work!! I've been doing this long enough that my body is needing it like a sleep! I recommend everyone trying this for at least a month and seeing huge changes not only in body but in your mind as well! Sending much love x
Joe Rogan is a true motivational speaker. He's the real deal; a mixed martial artist, a podcaster, a ufc commentator and interviewer, a body builder and a comedian..damn what a monster.

I'm 60 and work out , dont eat crap anymore . U have to take care of your body or it won't take care of you. When I say I'm 60 it feels like I'm talking about someone else because I don't feel 60 I don't look 60 . It's all a state of mind. There were no vids like this years ago but I had 4 kids and always after each 1 got my body back to where I wanted it to be. At night when they where sleeping I'd work out on my own in my front room , with tins of beans as weights lol doing sit ups with Mt feet under the edge of the sofa and pulling myself up, it's a state of mind . My life hasn't been easy ffs it's been crap but I'm not a victim I'm a survivor and even at 60 u can do anything u put your mind 2
Rule #1. Don't ever consume more motivational content than you have put into your actions. Period. Rule #2. Make a VOW to never disappoint yourself from now on. Rule #3. Get IT GOING
Don’t aim too low but also stay realistic. Aiming too high makes you just depressed. You will be disappointed by yourself one or the other way.. just deal with it control your emotions towards it and jump back on that work mate. :) every setback is a gain. Two steps up one down ;)
Does anyone agree that success is subjective? Not just a measure that society puts in place and is accepted by the majority of the general population. Maybe it’s dependent on who’s measuring it and the accomplishments that person has set out to attain and ultimately achieves. I believe I am not part of the majority that accepted their idea of success. Or maybe I’m just a lazy fukn asshole in his moms basement smelling my own farts. Something I ponder often. “A man is a success if he wakes up in the morning and goes to sleep at night and in between does what he wants to do.” -Bob Dylan Also. He “Who has filled his niche, and accomplished his task; has left the world better than he found it. Whether by an improved poppy, a perfect poem or a rescued soul; who never lacked appreciation for earths beauty or failed to express it; who looked for the best in others and gave the best he had” -Robert Louis Stevenson
Joe Rogan, you changed my life with this video, I have never commented on a UA-cam video within the past century. But I’m gonna take this to heart and hope to show you what you’ve done for me in the future. I mean that. As someone going through a really hard transition, through young adult life, I can’t thank you enough for how I feel right now.
Wow, that's sayin something! And it's not like he's saying something original that we haven't heard before, but sometimes we have to be ready to receive the message and we need to find the right messenger who delivers what we need to hear at the right time. A person we admire and trust. Apparently Joe is that person for you. I hope things are getting better and better for you. Cheers.
The mental process of struggle sucks in the moment...but later on something will emerge from it and those little rewards make the process worth it for me. No matter what it is. Getting a little stronger, a little smarter, a little better. Those small rewards add up over time.
I think the masculine energy that men like you display is the one we need. You are compassionate and thoughtful but combine it with toughness, resilience that’s what we need from the masculine element. A man is more of a man when he can be sensitive and attuned to others, not less. A real man is sensitive. That takes courage. Thanks Joe Rogan
Worst part about motivational videos sometimes is you get the emotional satisfaction from them as if you actually accomplished something, when you did nothing but listen to someone who actually has. I over-indulge in these videos more than I act on them.. Despite that acknowledgment, I feel it will make no difference.
Everybody knows what's good for them, few act on that knowledge. In a way, you actually did accomplish something. By indulging in these videos, you are opening yourself up to new ways of thinking, ways that people who are successful by their own measure use. By doing this, you are already halfway there to doing what these people are doing. Listening to these people speak will not change what you do, but you can allow it to change HOW you do what you do. If you allow it. It's all about allowing yourself to adapt these mindsets AGAINST your habit of thinking the way you previously did (filled with inaction). One thing I use to help myself get going is the 5 second rule. If you have a task at hand, you must start on it within 5 seconds of realizing the task or your chances of completing the task are greatly diminished.
Yeah, I have had that problem with working on a goal and then someone compliments me, and then I feel like I’ve lost the purpose because of the early gratification.
He pretty much says success is in the doing....that's the catalyst for change. Choice, not chance. We all have the chance to become successful and you can set out to do anything you choose to do....but the first thing we must do is choose to get motivated and then go out and DO the thing you want for people to remember you by....the evidence that you came and touched this reality. It's said the uncommitted life is not worth living. I try to listen to these videos while i'm doing the thing I need to do. If you got the time to listen to them, use that time to start cleaning or working out. Excellence is a daily habit so you can start by getting control of the smallest things of your life. You build a skyscraper the same way you eat an elephant....piece by piece and bite by bite. So just start at step 1 and choose to get up and do it and then recognize that it's just going to be a series of these steps and be proud of the progress that you have made. Remind yourself the reason why you started what you are doing everyday. Mine is easy man, it's my daughter. She is 5 months old and I get to see her smile everyday. What's your reason to start ?
The Geezer is too good it's unbelievable - I have listened to him every day for the last 7yrs ! Help me deal with my wife's Bipola and I am now the MD of two different companies ! This guy along with David Goggins is legit ! Big love everyone !
I’ve listened to this every workout for two weeks while I lift. I think I’m ready to start listening to my inner beast and get past this self doubt and loss of motivation I had. No more one foot in and one foot out!! Time to move!
Hope still improving brother better life with putting more positivity in your life IV quit drinking a week now and feel more positive.....Joe Rogan is my Guru 🙌
Thanx guys, I’m 73 and this gave the incentive to go to the gym and tone up again. It’s really the only time that I really feel good. You gave me the little push I needed. Thank you thank you. 🇨🇦 John.
The part where joe is talking about suicide really hit me. I went through a deep depression and had those thoughts. People thought my life was great but on the inside I was dying. But I will tell you if you fight through it and keep going day by day, hour by hour, it will get better. I started working out and stopped doing the drugs I was on I completely changed my life. Thanks for this Joe
If you are reading this, I honestly hope you the best for yourself, your family, your financial situation if you don't have any of them, then just DO IT FOR YOURSELF. COVID has set us ALL back, so don't feel alone in thinking it has only affected you. Change your routine. I am in processing in changing my life. I was working at events all round the UK and I was about to move country to better myself but due to the current state, I feel like I have had a huuuuge setback! Make a plan, and literally write out some goals. Break down every goal and do something everyday to get that little bit closer. Just know that you're not alone, even if it does FEEL that way, but you're not. COVID and lockdown affected me A LOT. Learn from people who has done it. Just put yourself out there. I feel like I'm at rock bottom so any way is UP from now on. All the best, a 27 male lad from UK.Stay blessed and just keep on doing things until you succeed. Love x
Joe has been one of many inspirations in my life. I started doing stand up comedy when I was 18 and started a podcast when I was 19, and it was really tough in the beginning. Overtime though I kept working and improving, and now I’m 21 and an opening act at multiple clubs in Florida, and my podcast has a small amount of consistent listeners. Sometimes I fool myself that I’m not doing enough and that I’m not improving, but based on what my peers tell me I know that I have taken huge steps towards where I want to be since I started when I was 18. I’m beyond thankful for all of the amazing influences I’ve had in my life. Additionally, I’m about commission as an officer in the United States Air Force and I am beyond happy that all the work I’ve put into that since I was 18 is finally rewarding me. I have never met Joe, but man if I meet him I have a lot to thank him for. He’s been a huge influence in my life for a while now.
100% agree. I grew up framing and we provided most of our own food. Very little came from the store. I felt alive back then. Fast forward to city living and everyone is a mindless drone walking around with little to no purpose. Hiking is my escape and sea kayaking. Mother Nature is amazing. Working towards a new goal to grow my own whole foods again.
I've been listening to motivation videos for a while now and they've taught me a lot and I've been working to shape my mindset for success. But when I first listened to one of these Joe Rogan videos, it really opened my eyes and my mind even more. I love how he just tells it how it is. Like one friend talking to another. No fancy speeches, no motivating background music. Just a guy, who's been there, done that and understands what it takes to be happy and successfull in life. Just telling it to you straight. Plus the things he says just make so much sense and I'm able to relate it to my own life, which really helps to see the big picture.
Thank you Joe for helping me change my ways. Really though I'm a normal dude with normal problems and listening to you has made me a better person and a better man.
Thanks Joe! I have been my own worst enemy! Started working out 6 months ago, feeling great and planning on becoming GREAT! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! YOU ARE A CREDIT TO THE HUMAN RACE!!!
I absolutely love this !!! . As a fitness instructor just showing up is half the battle. This message is so great . You have no idea how this podcast can help someone’s life .. Thank you so much .
I remember watching ufc with my pops as a kid and thinking it was awesome that the guy from fear factor was commentating. Now I’m 32 and a year into my sobriety and 10 months into jiu jitsu. I am so beyond grateful for BJJ. It has completely changed my life. I’ve smoked for 15 years and never thought I would quit but my fucking EGO of wanting to win a jiu jitsu competition made me quit smoking and start running. I’m so thankful for Joe and his podcast. I found it when I needed it most and it has helped navigate me towards the right path.
I could listen to Joe all day. He really is making an impact on my life, some of his words stay in my mind and when I'm about fall into the same bad habits again I hear his voice with all of this advice to fight back. I'm out of my comfort zone now and fighting to be better little by little, every day.
Joe Rogan, have heard you say many times that you dont read comments, but i hope this one somehow gets to you, whether a friend of your or publicist or somebody reads this and gets it to you or not. I am a big fan and i enjoy your podcasts and videos, i do a ton of driving so I listen to you frequently. I am only halfway through this video and you have lit a fire under my ass. I am an addict and i struggle pretty bad from time to time wanting to use again or put myself in bad situations that come with the lifestyle. I used to be a great athlete in combat sports (wrestling and 'savage grappling') but over the years i have gotten lazy and strayed away. The crazy thing is, is when I'm in the habbit of going to my classes I feel so much better physically and more mentally stable. I am in a great job as the lead of my shop with excelent chances to rise higher in my field and make my company into one hell of a career. I have been slacking with everything in my life. As far as taking care of my health, staying in a positive headspace, working out, and even just getting to work on time. I have had a hunger to improve my life and this is the kick in the ass I needed. His name has slipped my mind but the old school body builder you had on your podcast lived by making a list of goals anf I am going to do that. I am tired of being unsatisfied, but I realize that its all on me and nobody else. I am going to choose to make my life what i want it to be. Thank you very much Joe Rogan.
Just recently crawled out from under my rock, and started listening to this podcast. I appreciate the candid conversations and the spectrum that you cover. Thank you!
I’m so thankful men like Joe are around as an all around father figure. He’s a man of guidance and there’s no better father then a man who Guides the way
Y’all I’m a truck driver and when they started out asking about the good people that can make ur day better. Let me tell u there is no better feeling then a kid doing a arm pump for the sound of the horn to brighten up ur day 100%
I started powerlifting recently and kickboxing it's done so much for me in terms of discipline and pure enjoyment and I'm getting stronger every day. Thank you joe
No doubt we need more inspirational people like Joe. Look at the world we live in. It’s depressing how people depend on mood enhancing drugs especially when they are abused for lack of DISCIPLINE, as Joe speaks of. Enjoy life. Quit complaining and be appreciative of the joy in life as simple or complex it may be.
In some African households being “depressed “ doesn’t exist which is why it is so difficult to talk to your family about the reason why you can’t eat and lie awake at night thinking about life and stressed you are.
u should go to africa. holiday resorts there are so nice! theres so much nature and you feel like a human again! i went to Madagascar and i rode donkeys and walked through a jungle and went swimming in the river, made me feel great!
Me too bro cuz we all grew up watching my fear factor and UFC you know we all watch UFC Joe Rogan is the all-time greatest UFC commentator hands down no question everybody knows that it is the damn truth he brought the excitement to the people that were watching it at home
I was paired with an old time Sports Illustrated writer just yesterday for a round of golf. We had a blast talking for 4 hours while shanking balls all over that beautiful course. So many stories. I asked him: "Art(hur)....with all the professional athletes you have spent time with and interviewed, what is the overlapping quality that they all seem to have?" He took just a second to ponder.... "They never give up. Even when they are behind, they believe that every next shot, quarter, round or throw will be the best of their career and they work at it tirelessly. That is the spirit of a Champion" Let that be your motivation no matter how late in the game you start.
Im struggling to reintergrate into life having a criminal record an overcoming a heroin habit and deciding to change leaves you in a lost space the community doesn't want me, finding work is ridiculously challenging without a job no coin, no independence, little to offer, this kills motivation. Daily ill continue to perservere that's my discipline but I'm tired, I have no ego left. Love has lost me I'm on a mission to find it so I can find comfort in being able give love an enjoy people, an life. Let you know when I find my path
Since living the military I have been struggling and digging myself into a mental hell. Some days I’ve only hung on by a thread. You’ve helped motivate me to scrape and crawl out of my mental prison I’ve built internally. Thank you for being a guiding voice to bring me back to reality.
"Get past the resistance, be disciplined, exercise, eat well. It all enhances our life experience and everyone around us. Health span not just lifespan". Sound advice for every age, thank you Joe. xo
Guys remember that a lot of this is their take on life based in their personal experience. They are trying to pass a good, positive message, try to get the best you can out of it, motivation needs to come from inside.
Sensei Rogan speaks his mind, tells it like it is, but man, that beautiful violin melody really helps deliver the message. Thank you for snipping these together and thank you Joe for sharing the spark with all of us. I'm truly inspired, thank you.
Love these kinds of conversations, I started waking up in my mid-50s, and it's very hard to change when older. I have worked out for many years, 35. That is one thing I did that I am forever grateful for. I can relate to Joe, in that how it makes you feel, to me, it is like eating, sleeping etc. I am always looking to grow, but I am great at getting in my own way.
been inside my house hiding away from everything for a year now. depressed, anxious & paranoid also. 17 turning 18 in 4 days, smoking weed doing drugs as much as i can while doing nothing with my life. all my old “friends” abandoned me & now its just me. missed my first year of college because of how anxious the idea of it made me. am now starting a course while redoing a gcse. its just the beginning for me but i honestly loved listening to this will come back to it soon. life will be better i know it
You can do this man i feel u, i quit weed for 6 months now i feel so proud of myself and trust me not a day i thought when i was smoking weed that i would quit
We appreciate the motivation and effort that you're putting in towards helping people who are struggling with existence. Thanks bro we need all the positive energy we can get today. Love you guy's.

Damn I needed to hear this...I allowed lockdown to take my motivation spirit and enthusiasm in the gym...in fact my life...I forgot my whys....no more...time to do the work and get it done. Today is the first step.
I was suffering from depression and was eventually diagnosed with bipolar disorder after a friend found me after I tried to commit suicide. Now I want to get back on track and realise my goals. These motivational videos are a godsend.
This was very helpful I'm going thru a bit of a rough time right now trying to find my direction and purpose again . The podcast reminded me that I need to just start doing the things that bring me happiness and eating healthier making bettr decisions. Thanks again Tyler 🇨🇦
My favourite advisor ❤. He reminds me of my grandpa he just passed away 2 years back talking to me about life and how to be better yourself and everything lol. You rock 🤟
It took me 20 years of working for someone else, every day, every week, wasting my life working 50-60 hours a week to finally realize how shitty it feels inside. Being told "look at the money you're making", wasting that money on pills and alcohol just to feel anything that felt good and to cope with spending my life at work. It sucks. I've always wrote about how much I just want to be free, not live a life being a slave to the dollar bill. Neglecting myself and everything around me. My motivation for life itself just becoming less and less throughout the years... This depression I get during the holidays, waking up it's dark, going home from work it's dark... These last couple years have been the most unhappiest of my life.
I hear you buddy! I told myself if I get this engineering job I would be happy then I get it and work day and night and never happy then I say I’m going to work for myself and I did it and opened last Friday my shop and I’m already hating it and I don’t know why! My biggest this is I feel like I have a plan and I do it then still can’t get happy. So I’m starting tomorrow and getting up working out for the first time in years and then shower then I wrote down what I think will make, not me happy but that I have a happy day! If I have a better day then today then I will add a small action each day to eat better, work out, smile, play with my kids more, love my wife harder, stop complaining, stop worrying about bills do and doing nothing but rather make more money as I know a easy way to do it but I just don’t do it. I tell myself I have no energy to do it and blame my health issues on it when I don’t even try!!!
Videos like this are just pure gold! I wish everyone in the world had this mentality, there would be no homeless people or depression because we would all be able to coexist without being so hateful towards people we don’t even know!
OMG, love Joe Rogan. This vid not only motivated me, it also validated me. 2.5 years ago, I gave up owng a car so I could be a part of the world more intimitaley. I craved it to my soul. I use a bike to go to the gym, grocery store, the dentist... I've never been so happy!! Did I mention extremely healthy? I love life! Thanks Joe.
This man right here is an absolute legend his podcasts and his honesty is different level any time I have a bad day or struggle with motivation his videos is the first place I turn to ❤️💪🏻
It lies within us to make the change.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻.. Resistance is thought transformed into feeling. Change the thought that creates the resistance, and there is no more resistance😊🙏🏼
Joe changed my perception in life. Your time is limited keep yourself healthy, find your purpose, try to be positive and strive hard to be a better human being. We are all travelling in this realm and we have to make it worthwhile for yourself and people around you. When you are ready to learn a teacher will appear.

Dude I’m a 60 year old woman and I thought this podcast was awesome! I wish people like you were around when I was young. Keep doing your thing dudes!
I'm 61-year-old man and I feel the exact same way
I'm 60 and work out , dont eat crap anymore .
Awesome Carol… your a champion!
And I hope your doing great in life.

Two steps up one down ;)
I like rule #2 cheers
Does anyone agree that success is subjective? Not just a measure that society puts in place and is accepted by the majority of the general population. Maybe it’s dependent on who’s measuring it and the accomplishments that person has set out to attain and ultimately achieves. I believe I am not part of the majority that accepted their idea of success. Or maybe I’m just a lazy fukn asshole in his moms basement smelling my own farts. Something I ponder often.
“A man is a success if he wakes up in the morning and goes to sleep at night and in between does what he wants to do.”
-Bob Dylan
Also. He “Who has filled his niche, and accomplished his task; has left the world better than he found it. Whether by an improved poppy, a perfect poem or a rescued soul; who never lacked appreciation for earths beauty or failed to express it; who looked for the best in others and gave the best he had”
-Robert Louis Stevenson
If all you’re doing is watching these motivational videos you won’t get anything done yes. Rule number 1 is rhetorical.

Joe Rogan, you changed my life with this video, I have never commented on a UA-cam video within the past century. But I’m gonna take this to heart and hope to show you what you’ve done for me in the future. I mean that. As someone going through a really hard transition, through young adult life, I can’t thank you enough for how I feel right now.
good to hear ! hope you'll meet joe at a certain point to tell him this in person !
Cheers.
Damn past century I didn’t even know UA-cam existed 100 years ago …..
I hope things are going well bro
keep killing it soldier
Every single time I feel demotivated, I come back to watch this video over and over again

Struggle is making you stronger
Katy Luetke Struggle builds mental strength and toughness, no doubt about it
The mental process of struggle sucks in the moment...but later on something will emerge from it and those little rewards make the process worth it for me. No matter what it is. Getting a little stronger, a little smarter, a little better. Those small rewards add up over time.
Yeah Rogan knows all about struggle he said in his own words that he is lucky to be where he is windbag idiot next🐍🍀
Not always. But hopefully.
Ashley Mackinnon you’re the angriest Aussie!
I agree totally, well said Julie.
Nothing wrong with being a man with man values and ideas. That's what makes us men.
Man just being aware of that is a great position to be in
seesharper that’s why you need to not just listen...but do the work. Try listening correctly.
"people are so toned down and neutered..." and "this fear of discomfort" --so true. Thanks for posting. I appreciated this very much.

Thanks for this Joe

i admire you $ i am sorry that you experienced you went through i’m genuinely happy you’re doing better🇺🇸
Was it depression from environment (relationship/finances etc) or from "clinical depression"? Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem
How did you get the motivation to start working out?

This lock down has made me hungry for change and growth
This podcast has officially become part of my morning routine.
Lombardo ZarateIII bro exactly. I’m working out more, looking forward to tomorrow everyday🙌🏻

Just start your day off with fitness. I promise you it starts there

I asked him: "Art(hur)....with all the professional athletes you have spent time with and interviewed, what is the overlapping quality that they all seem to have?" He took just a second to ponder....

Joe changed my perception in life. Your time is limited keep yourself healthy, find your purpose, try to be positive and strive hard to be a better human being.
