nice move! maybe it would be better, if you first show the whole move 2-3 times and then explain everything. Now we only see the move at the end for a short time.
Super important to watch your foot placements. Had a buddy of mine break his ankle when someone went for the throw and trap their foot behind his and landed on it
Right??? I’ve wrestled for 20+ years. Trained with olympians… I’ve never seen it done this way. Granted he does say “I’m not a thrower.” I’ve tossed MANY grown men across the mat, and it doesn’t go like this lol
If you have it tight they won’t roll through. But you have to release the lock to get the pin, my boy hit this in 1 match three times and couldn’t get the pin he ended up teaching him
Don't land too high. Your armpit should be about at his sternum. Sink your weight low and hip heist so your hips are facing up. This prevents the immediate roll through. He'll roll back to try and regroup, that's when you can turn back into him and get a solid side control.

this is only a small portion of the video that he teaches.
Thats the whole point lmao, they sell these videos as a series with 30-40 minutes instructionals.
100%

Same think happened to me
You’re throwing that backward lol That just looked weird. Arm goes first, not the head. You’re gunna hurt someone’s neck forcing this version.
Going to spam this during my tournament next season
🔥
Great vid. It might be helpful to begin the video with a short clip of the move then transition into the instruction.
Thank you I’m going to use this in my middle school thanks very much this will help with everything
Which of his instructionals is this from?
It's neck throw with lock
This is exactly opposite the way I've always thrown a head and arm, and I kind of love it.

Is this particular hold legal in folkstyle?
That’s what I was thinking I’m not sure, this is definitely 4 points in freestyle though
Thank you for this video 👍

Why don't you go the other way for the throw, towards the trapped arm?
I think the advantage here is it's not as easy for him to slip out
Good thanks
What do you do as you hit the ground to insure you don't get rolled through, and can secure the fall?
Keep your hips down and sprawl on him
Don’t land on top of him. When you land, your body should be on the mat
@@timelesswarriors thank you i’ve been having the issue of blue belts and higher rolling out of my throw after i drop my knee and land on them

oh this is cool... I only knew about going the other way with the throw

Too much bloody talking. Just show the damn move
