@@josiasarcadia Bro, I try moves on my missus. Inevitably a crotch shot counters them all.

Koshi Garuma --> Kesa Gatame has, I believe, won me every actual fight of my adult life...
Thanks to Mr. Tucker, my HS biology teacher and first Judo instructor, for teaching me both of them.

We LOVE this move in Sumo! One of the main Sumo strategies is Morozashi, or double underhooks to a body lock, and it's tough to get out of. But this throw gives us an out if applied correctly and with a lot of force.

Have you ever noticed that the bad guys that don't like to be touched are the ones who have never taken Judo or jujitsu? In psychology class we are taught that Judo is a form of "hug therapy" which was very popular in the 70's and what I am trying to revive Now by wearing a shirt while shopping that says "hug therapy, ask for your free hug."

I receied my blue belt in Nippon Kempo in 2002. Sadly my Instructor moved away. You can grapple in Nippon Kempo. I used to compete in NK in the late 90s. NK is a great art. I recently got into Kudo which I also love. They are similar yet very different.

I train at an MMA gym, and everyone there is younger and stronger. I make them work for that double under, and hit them with this. A lot of times they pull back and I can turn it into a sag takedown. Either way we end up in Kesa Gatame, and I get a chance to catch my breath.
    Getting old sucks.
