- Hello and welcome to another OMSI 2 video!
We're back on Westcountry today which I am absolutely going to go out on a limb and say is "The Home Of The Veiling Pack". This map really does suit the Veiling so well, and I think it's about time we recreated one of my old videos now that we have the correct bus for the livery!
As you may or may not recall I changed all of the ai traffic on Westcountry 3 to a Firstgroup fleet, and because we only had the Veiling 3 from Yorkshire Counties, we had to use the fantastic "Discover" livery from Callum Chilly on that. Great livery... wrong bus.
Now however we've got the correct bus, and a stunning "Discover" livery from Macauley, which is available as part of the Veiling Repaint Megapack (link below). I think it's only right we drive this great route in this great bus... though weird forces are at work on our journey today!!!

First west of England driver here. Just to comment on the foot flat comment…. I mostly drive Streetdecks which usually always require foot flat acceleration on pulling away from stand still.
Also, I am so impressed at how accurate the ticketer is. I played Omsi years ago, it really has come a long way since I played it.

I wish I could drive this bus I was bad when it wasn't out but now I'm worse. Since my local bus ser ice use a lot of them possible euro 4 and 5s. Keep up the great work

Looks like it’s based on a Volvo bus in England, zf ecomat sounds not bad too. Very nice!
Great video Joe, but you might need to hide away from all the Roblox people with pitchforks 🤣 and with the heating, sometimes the bus spawns with the windows open so maybe check the windows before starting 🙂

Hey Joe,
Not sure if you’re aware but the interior is non-standard because the BJ10 and BJ11s in the west of England are ex-Bristol Airport A1 Flyers. They had blue leather which was well suited but when they came off the A1 and onto Discover, they replaced it with standard First E-leather. :)
You can see a bus with this livery in York, use by connexions now.

Bit of history of bus brought new for bristol airport flyer hence the blue on back of seat and the silver poles then upgraded and refurb when replaced by enviro mmc had luggage racks remove and extra seats put in and painted discover livery for route D1,2 and 3 from bath bus station the bus on question is 69501

@@JoeDobsongaming Hi Joe there is Stagecoach paints but the its got the First Interior in it but I've got this bus and it's aboustley amazing
The Veiling ZF sound is a modified version of the default ZF sound, that might be why it sounds a bit wierd
No, its ZF done by ibgtvfd - even says so in the manual

Personal view of this pack:
I feel the Veiling Euro 5 sounds more like an Euro 4, than their actual Euro 4 counterpart itself.
