When i show this band to people i know they dont believe me there's classical elements in the music. They say it's just "noise" to them thankyou for proving them wrong for me. This is beautiful
its great how necrophagists guitar work, whenever you play it on a piano, it sounds just like classical music. i fucking love it dude. you can really see muhammeds roots, with all the yngwie malmsteen and whatnot.
Incredible, this really sticks a middle finger up to all those who claim that metal is just 'a racket' -It sounds like Tchaikovsky. Awesome job, very talented! Can't get enough of it, especially as I'm trying to understand Music theory in order to play metal like this. Post another! You kick ass!
@diabeticmonkey That was a dumb thing to say.... Yes, music needs major thirds to become tonal.... but he does use major thirds..... a minor chord/ arpeggio consists of one minor third and one major third..... I think this guy is referring to the diminished scales in here which are just straight minor thirds.... but fuck him, they sound great and every scale has diminished chords/arpeggios in them!!!

not really... the death metal aspect has nothing to do with neo classical... its just diminished stuff, really fast - and really choppy rhythmically... and some basic classical based progressions everyonce and a while... This is one of the defining tech death bands - and they are robots, but their chord progressions are very simple and straight forward...
