Most people relate this song to an ex. And that makes sense, but I listen to this and I can only think of my parents. It really is scary how accurate it is
wow its crazy I used to be obsessed with this band even before with woe, is me I can't believe I still know the lyrics and feel the same energy from when I was younger hearing this is good vibes
I wonder if the bands/artists actually do know how much their music can mean to us, I mean like "careful when you sing a note or a phrase 'cause it might mark someone's life" Ya'll get me?
This is something to consider. I think sometimes artists just want to create something and not really think about the outcome of what was made, just make it and its their art without an explanation. Humans do the rest and can twist meanings from anything so I think that gives the artist more freedom to do or say as they please with that as a buffer from any consequences.
Been years since i last listened to Issues, but i honestly wouldnt be where i am today without out them. Helped me through some dark ass times (and continues to do so), and i could never thank these guys enough for helping me refind my purpose. Never lose your flame guys n gals
I hate when people comment "Issues is an Hardcore Band" or they place them in a genre. If you are a true fan you watch all the interviews in which i might add has them saying "They dont like to be placed in a certain genre, bc they believe genres hold back you back from what you can be as a band." Plus they want to be unique so they mix a bit of different stuff. so what their music sounds different from other bands, that is what makes Issues, Issues.
I hate when people are too stuck to realize issues and other bands trying to be "unique" end up sounding like other bands in genres they tried to avoid lmao.
I heard this song right after a crazy breakup. I walked into Zumiez and customized my own board. When the guy was setting my deck up for me I was looking around at other shit when this song came on. Asked him who it was and have been listening since. Amazing vocals.
I love how Issues stands out with their own style. I listen to everything from As Blood Runs Black to Pierce The Veil, and these guys are definitely one of my favorites.
This songs reminds me of my parents because they always kick me out of their house and beg me back but I’ve gotten a job and living on my own... and issues got through it 💗
Finally gave Issues more of a listen and I don't regret it at all, I already listened to like 6 more and have 3 favorites including this, can't wait to go listen to more xD
My favorite band of all my life, for them I decided to start my band, they were my inspiration, and I swear that I miss them too much, I would give everything to see them together again like in those times :(
I normally don't relate to songs, but I find it funny that I kind of do with this song. Used to be friends with this girl that I had a crush on for a long time, and she'd always be a bitch to me, only later to come to me for help with her relationship issues. She never gave a damn, even when I'd go out of my way to be nice, or give her gifts on holidays. Really hope one of these days she comes to me with another life issue, and then I won't even bother with it.
Ha! some here bro. I gave this girl my heart... I even opened the car door for her and told her i would never lie or cheat on her, and she still treated me like shit.
Happens to the best of us bro, best thing you can do, I've learned through experience, act like you don't give a shit, make a joke out of their problems. Then they'll come running. I'm sorry dude, I know what you are going through.
To be honest, sometimes I'd rather have Tyler's R&B vocals over the whiny-emo clean vocals that most scene bands have. Not that I don't like those bands, too, but Tyler actually has a good voice
People are going to like what they like. I like Issues. Their style, their sound. True they may not be as technical as other bands, but that doesn't make them a bad band. But, I also listen to bands like Killswitch Engage, Trivium, Five Finger Death Punch, Thy Art Is Murder, and... I like the heavy and soft parts Issues have to offer. Everyone has there opinion, usually the opinion of one person cannot change the opinion of another c:
im only here because of my friend Drake. He's cousin is in the band. I have absolutely fell in love with this band. They are amazing. And im have truly became a fan.
I feel ya, bro. Not girlfriend in my case, just girl friend. Hope you get over it, find someone else, or get her back. But can't let what happened in the past hold you back.
omg this is so fucking great ive always only listend to the acousit versino of this song i dont why i havnt heard this version but its sooooooo fucking great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! why wont the radio play this its so fucking amazinggggggg!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm 26, my man was a cute chubby emo guy 10 years ago and showed me this song, he likes when I sing and I love to sing so I've been singing to him since. But his cousin came over last night, played this song, took me way back :) still remember all the words! And was able to sing it like I used to :) some shit only gouges skin deep, this song struck me to my core ❤
I've had a friend for a few years and we slowly started to not talk as much but we both alwayse remember eachother and eveytime I hear this song I think of her and end up hitting her up lmao
He does none of the cleans for Of Mice& men. That is what I am talking about, lol. I mean I've seen a video of him singing for a fun little acoustic show, but it sounded nothing like this either.
Absolutely love this song I haven't been able to stop listening to it, because of his voice it's just so amazing I think I die a little inside everytime I hear his voice. I hope I get to go to warped tour to see them! I'll cry if I do, because it will be a few days after my birthday!
Ten years later and this song is still amazing.
Issues has helped me with my issues
Nadia Gay same...
+Nadia Gay i had issues once
+Nadia Gay then i got naked and fended off all my demons with my wiener
+Nadia Gay which isn't necessarily very impressive... until i include the fact that my penis is only 3 inches hard
+Ess Hales WELL THEN.
Most people relate this song to an ex. And that makes sense, but I listen to this and I can only think of my parents. It really is scary how accurate it is
Omg! I feel the same.
EmniPony™ Idk what it is lol
+Matt Wittlinger Same here man same here.
+Ess Hales And then it got awkward ahahah xD
+Ess Hales I wonder why I wasn't surprised by that.
Oh, right. It's UA-cam.
wow its crazy I used to be obsessed with this band even before with woe, is me I can't believe I still know the lyrics and feel the same energy from when I was younger hearing this is good vibes
I feel this on many levels hahaha i came back to listen to it, remembered every words and still had chills from the memories
Just got the same feelings listening rn
I wonder if the bands/artists actually do know how much their music can mean to us, I mean like "careful when you sing a note or a phrase 'cause it might mark someone's life"
Ya'll get me?
Kika Waperlin indeed
I know these guys in person and yes they know trust me they know
This is something to consider. I think sometimes artists just want to create something and not really think about the outcome of what was made, just make it and its their art without an explanation. Humans do the rest and can twist meanings from anything so I think that gives the artist more freedom to do or say as they please with that as a buffer from any consequences.
trust.
With the emotion they put into songs as such I can only say, yes, yes they do! ^-^
Been years since i last listened to Issues, but i honestly wouldnt be where i am today without out them. Helped me through some dark ass times (and continues to do so), and i could never thank these guys enough for helping me refind my purpose. Never lose your flame guys n gals
I love the chorus riff. Old song but still sounds fresh.
Tyler Carter has to be one of the best lead singers I have ever heard! So pumped I found this song!!
Were has this song been all my life?
*where
Anaya Green obviously here but ya know what I mean :)
+Aaron Monroe Harambee...
Aaron Monroe tRiGgErEd
2:41 WHERE WILL YOU GO WHEN YOU REFUSE MY BENEVOLENCE?!
god damn so good
I hate when people comment "Issues is an Hardcore Band" or they place them in a genre. Plus they want to be unique so they mix a bit of different stuff. so what their music sounds different from other bands, that is what makes Issues, Issues.
+We All Have Tissues Just because they don't like it doesn't place them out of a genre though. They still fit into a definition.
Bmth new album sounds similar to their style
You don't have to watch all interviews to be a 'true fan'
Wtf
I hate when people are too stuck to realize issues and other bands trying to be "unique" end up sounding like other bands in genres they tried to avoid lmao.
if they don't want 2 put them self in a spersfic genre that means they are schophrenic music .-.
I heard this song right after a crazy breakup. I walked into Zumiez and customized my own board. When the guy was setting my deck up for me I was looking around at other shit when this song came on. Asked him who it was and have been listening since. Amazing vocals.
awesome guy
I just knew this song last year.... thank you! such a great song!
TYLER JUST CAME OUT ON TWITTER!! IM SO PROUD OF HIM! i have alot of respet for this guy for being able to do that. love this guy.
Love this band. They write their own style of music of what they want. Its a good mixture of multiple genres in one
I love how Issues stands out with their own style. I listen to everything from As Blood Runs Black to Pierce The Veil, and these guys are definitely one of my favorites.
If you listen to all their music besides Tyler killing it their bass player is pretty talented.
Whole band is dude :)
Bass players basically have no talent
Spoken like a bass player. Bass is the easiest piece of this BY FAR
Amen brother...this is the kind of music that inspires not expires.
2019 and still listening! Sick 🤘🏻🤘🏻🔥🤙🏼

Getting older is so sad man. How was this 12 years ago???? I was 18 when this came out and now I’m 30
You're not alone dude, count me in 😆
Fr dude I’m 31
This band is so far one of my top three bands to see live. They did a great show in Minnesota
I've seen this band 3 times already and got to hug and take a picture with them they were awesome

No matter the time lapse, this song is still amazing as ever

2022 still hitting strong!
this song hits home love it wish she could realize she just pushes me away and then begs me to stay

Chris Porkarski a lot

I never thought I'd love a record label but Rise has AWESOME bands. A lot of my fave bands are on Rise :)
I normally don't relate to songs, but I find it funny that I kind of do with this song.
Used to be friends with this girl that I had a crush on for a long time, and she'd always be a bitch to me, only later to come to me for help with her relationship issues. Happens to the best of us bro, best thing you can do, I've learned through experience, act like you don't give a shit, make a joke out of their problems. Then they'll come running. I'm sorry dude, I know what you are going through.

😂😂
Omg!!! I'm in love with this song and this band!! I've only recently discorvered them and the more I listen to them, the more I love them!!!
Always a great song to go back to review. The band ISSUES helped me out when I was feeling alone and low.
To be honest, sometimes I'd rather have Tyler's R&B vocals over the whiny-emo clean vocals that most scene bands have. Not that I don't like those bands, too, but Tyler actually has a good voice
Oh god foh
This is probably my new favourite song! As soon as I heard it I just fell in love with the band. Would love to see them live.
When this song isnt fucking loud enough
dude same
The end of this song always leaves me feeling so empty
People are going to like what they like. I like Issues. Their style, their sound. True they may not be as technical as other bands, but that doesn't make them a bad band. I love how tyler's voice just about perfectly harmonizes with the dropped instruments.
"Where will you go when you refuse? My pineapple hurts" hahahaha tell me I'm not the only one that hears that.
lmao
I'm dead💀😂😂😂
I heard it to

Issues is so sick \m/ metalcore bands are effing great!
Bros cleans are awesomely smooth.
The awkward moment when the picture of "issues" comes up and your just like...who the fuck is that?
original line up
"Cased God" FTW
I listen to this song and it helps me calm down so thank you issues for making this song
Funfact: Issues is named after Korn's fourth studio album Issues. Also I love Korn and Issues and I own the album Issues by Korn
Seeing them in Houston was one of the best nights ever! I fell in love with this band instantly. Gosh. So perfect.
So in love with this band

LAme, bitches are fake bro, accept it and hop on hoes left and right
Know the feeling
These vocals are incredible and fun to sing too
Yo Rise, you guys need to remaster this track, a mix like Tapping Out has. This track is too good not to.
i literally just found this band 10 minutes ago and i'm already obsessed.
This SONG ROCkS!!!!!!
This song is too real for me right now, I'm getting choked up. I'm a man, I'm not afraid cry sometimes.
Cant wait to see them at Warped Tour 2014!!!
Just did. haha. So good.
repeat, repeat, repeat!!!
So cool seeing these guys live!!!
The moment where I thought the song skipped to "Victorious" by P!ATD because of the intro.. :)
Still a good song I know the whole song by heart this hasn't gotten old for me still a hit and a banger too.
Essa banda e perfeita em td mas o vocal e o instrumental bem encaixado tipo um remix e muito foda
Issues é uma banda única de fato

Better than The Realest, a lot better :P
+TundraL5Z Can't compare apples to oranges. Even though it's the same band, clearly are different styles.
I enjoy a lot both songs ot be honest
I think the realest's better xD im new to this band
I dont agree with this comment anymore, i love The Realest now sorry

I just got into them and I literary in love, his voice is A .M. A.Z.I.N.G
Jesus Chist this is GOOD!! Singer kinda reminds me of either Austin Carlile or Kellin Quinn.
No...just no....
lmao...
Austin Carlile is an unclean vocalist, lol. :b
uhh wut? He does cleans and screams, watcha talkin about? lol
