Issues is the greatest band to fuck with people who don't like metalcore. They start off with this pop-oriented verse, and they're like "Ooh! This is good! I like his voice!" and then Michael comes in and starts screaming and they freak out XD
On a side note, great song and video cx
i remember listening to an issues song. my brother is a big r&b fan so i knew there was gonna be screams, i just didn't know when. tyler lays this r&b verse and i go "this shit good, innit?" my bro goes "hell yeah, what song is tha-" *michael comes in* song "ruined." hahaha.
Yeah I do that to my sister all the time. I keep trying to get her to tolerate the screams but she won't, no matter how awesome the rest of it is. It's sad really.
I try and get my friends who only pop music to listen to this just to see their reaction.

I really love this group's unique mix of Metalcore with RnB inspired vocals. I don't think I've heard any other band in existence who did something like this. I'm not a fan of RnB, but when Issues infuses it with Metalcore, it actually works out pretty well.

I love the way the video shows exactly what the song is about. You try to erase their face from your mind but you just can't forget the memories you made. You want to forget but you can't. You keep doing the exact opposite and you keep letting them hurt you
Issues is so authentic, i dont know how they jam so much variety into a single song and have it turn out so awesome. Even if you dont care for them you have to give them credit for their diversity.

This song is the whole reason I got into this music and issues. It is so relatable to this relationship I keep getting sucked into and it's a very unhealthy relationship. I really like Issues. You can throw a lot of hate at them, but it doesn't change the fact that they are being quite different from other metalcore bands in the scene these days. I mean, their guitar riffs are mostly quite generic, but shit could be a whole lot worse, you know? They've got personality, and their own distinctive sound. I think most people just take one listen and assume they're another crappy metalcore band, but they've got promise.
