I have a 48-49 Buick radio in good condition but missing one tube. It looks like the one in your trunk. Believe it or not, I am the second owner of this radio. Let me know if you have an interest in it. It’s missing one knob. Odds are that GM used the same radio well into the 50’s. I envy your project. The ole girl looks to be in remarkably good condition. They handled like a marshmallow and brake fade was real and early, but so much style and character. Let me know if you need the radio… regards.
on the buick ive been running both a good inline filter and the original sediment bowl....both have been staying pretty clean and i just pulled the carb apart last night to rebuild it and it didnt have anymore junk in it than it started with...thanks for the advice and thanks for watching!

Runs great. Love those Buick straight eights. I had a 53 Roadmaster convertible back in the sixties. First year V8 and power everything. What a ride!

Also, consider an 8 volt battery. The car will charge it and it perks up the system. 8 volt tractor battery.
i will indeed! and its been stored indoors for a very long time...thats the only thing thats saved it like it is!
On a rusty tank you need to send it out and have it hot tanked and have the tank sealed so you won't get any more rust in the Corbrator
