Different book, different summons, different entities, different rules… same curse… groovy.
I also think it depends on which of the Kandarian demons that is summoned as to how & if it can be killed.
Also as a newcomer to the series aren’t these in the new movies just demons? If I recall correctly both this movie and the 2013 versions went away with the whole dead eites and just went with them being insane roided out demons? Again new comer to the series.
Random thought, but I imagine the speaker to have a moustache for some reason.
I love when he says “the book of the dead” it just progressively gets more and more evil as he says the sentence.
I get the feeling that Universal Studios Hollywood had to change the tone of the audio recording while people are in line at the queue of the maze.
it’s cool that as an watcher I thought there is a cure to reverse the curse but no just pure chaos and death when it summons
I played this connected to my Dolby atoms surround system with both 15 inch subs on max and holy shit
This is called horror
If u read any version of this book....u watch everyone u careabout become possedsed...and the evil dead seems to torture and torment.. the summoner..look at all of the lore, telme im wrong...i will totally fan luv this up
The best scene of the movie.
Ash has went back through time again, to find looking for the third book of the dead.
There’s one thing I doubt about: the demon got unleashed by the priest in 1924, but after all those years, was the demon still roaming on Earth or did he go back to hell and then came back when he got summoned by the brother? (I don’t remember his name sorry)
I think the suggestion is that if there’s no one else to latch onto, they go back in the book, but they can’t be killed.
@@alexman378i studied spirits and demonology for some time and the incantation brings the spirit only to a body thats already weakened and has "astral opening" so to speak. This pure evil cant jump from body to body like in this movie(just from a bite like zombie) also it can be purged from the body by very simple rituals..
Going off the trilogy logic it basically went to sleep, it’s only till the passages were recited again it reawoke
@@mr.azizsshitpostsIf I recall correctly when Ash and his friends were listening to the tape recorder in the first movie, Knowby mentioned that these entities may lie dormant, but are never truly dead, so yeah I think you're right about them going back to sleep
@@fighterx9840 yeah! It’s only when they are banished that they leave the mortal plane, otherwise they go sleep sleep
*kanDARRRRRRRR*
*says evil chant*
After: "Oh don't listen to that chant, demons will come out."
These recordings sound like they should be in a Annabelle movie
Was ash Williams in 1923
Time travel shenanigans, maybe. He did it before in the series Ash Vs The Evil Dead and sort of in Army of Darkness.
Nope, he was not.😢
@@dominiquawharton Actually, the director did confirm it really was Ash
@@ryanstauffer119 oh wow! That’s kinda cool! So he posed as a priest to try and find the second book?
@@ryanstauffer119 funny stuff though… I’m currently watching Evil Dead Rise. Great timing on your comment!🤣
Cool video but the audio is really low
When Ash vs Evil Dead was canceled, Bruce said he would be retiring from playing Ash. However, due to the success of this movie, he said he would come back as long as Sam Raimi's directing. If that is the case, maybe we can see Ash in 1923 when these recordings were made.
Would explain his brief cameo at 1:02 where it's likely Ash warning the priest to destroy the book
@@BanishedSilentShadow3318 The director confirmed that Ash did indeed travel back in time
@@ryanstauffer119Bruce however said it wasn’t, saying he signed on to help a priest
@@mr.azizsshitposts They originally intended to leave it up to the viewer to decide if Ash time traveled again. But now that a new film is in development, they confirmed it really is Ash posing as a priest.
@@ryanstauffer119 I mean does it? This new movie is nothing to do with rise, and Bruce said he wanted it to be just him as a priest, and with season 4 and 5 being worked on as we speak I doubt they wanna change the plot just for a Bruce cameo
Could you make a video on the recording in the original evil dead movie?
Oh my God
Peep the MF DOOM sticker as well
It sounds like Khan Dah is the name of the demon or the title of whichever volume of the book of the dead it is. and it sounds like “demon, I call out to you, come forth. demon.” Haha anyone think they can make out what it says? Spell it out phonetically? Then we can all practice it ourselves .
That’s just the recitation passages, it’s spelled Kanda, and it’s a commonly used in the films, including the first one. There is no hidden message, besides evil dead 1 that has some of the passages say where Sam raimi is
I like when he sounds like ramatra from overwatch 2
❤❤❤
It reminds me of Diablo I tavern destruction when they all burn and Marius watches
This is how u summon me
The way the world is right now might as well read this and be done.
@1:00
"In the first age in the first battle when the shadows first lengthened, one stood. Burned by the embers of armageddon his soul blistered by the fires of hell and tainted beyond ascension, he chose the path of perpetual torment.
In his ravenous hatred he found no peace and with boiling blood he scoured the umbral plains seeking vengeance against the dark lords who had wronged him.
He wore the crown of the knight sentinels, and those who tasted the bite of his sword named him...
The DoomSlayer!"
Doom is so evil dead inspired this is so perfect
Is Ash Williams has traveling in time?
