@@GeneRogers-di6cl Actually, John Wayne doesn't deserve to be in this movie or ANY movie about WW2. Unlike many of his fellow A-list actors, Wayne did not serve in the armed forces in any capacity. Ever. Dalton Trumbo served in Italy, yet Wayne had the temerity to go after Trumbo during the McCarthy trials and see that Trumbo was sent to prison. Trumbo confronted Wayne about his non-service in front of a small crowd, and this infuriated the Duke and sealed Trumbo's fate. So, who was the real patriot? Not Wayne.
