Been rockin with the smr here lately and its really strong but its a bit more difficult to use compared to my main the lstar but i gotta play with another projectile weapon and its been alot of fun tryna climb to gen 10 with it. I had a speedy start on relic the other day and got a smr triple to start the game it was hilarious.
The one critique i have with the smr is 1 sometimes reloads get you killed so ammo capacity and another is many times when you shoot it you cant see where your shots are going and the rockets obscure your screen

The smr also melts the big robots that launch those explosive pests.
