This video does a good job of laying out all the specs and what not...and I agree with it's conclusion, best all around bike is the ZX-10R. Should I buy it? ua-cam.com/video/PuGPP0GdWeo/v-deo.html
I want to see you on the track with something, maybe a zx6r would be better
he can borrow my 2023 ZX6R for the track
I really like this bike! It’s all around pretty perfect! 😊👍🔥 And a Wheelie would have been neat! 😭👍😊
You reviewed my 2 bikes...(2018) GSXR 1000r and (2021) ZX10R.
You were spot on.
I commute on both from NY to NJ and I'll be 60 this year! 🤣
@@elizabethwonders … 2 months ago he was *learning* how to do a wheelie … ‘Learning to wheelie. Day 2’ …
Only a fool stops learning. Your adjustment from uncomfortable sport bikes only reinforces why I like your channel. You will always update your knowledge to wisdom.
Of the 4 Japanese manufacturers, Kawasaki has the spot in my heart. Look at dyno numbers after Moore Mafia puts the treatments to especially Kawasakis.
Must be good if makes them numbers
@@tys938 so true lol
M1000 and Ducati V4's are the beasts!!!😈😈😈
That shouldn’t be the only reason to like this bike.
At Ryno, it's not. There's a lot to like about almost all of Kawasaki's two wheel offerings.
My first bike was my dad's 1980 KZ1000 and I've now got myself a Z900 RS and the ZX-10RR is probably my next bike. Kawasaki holds a spot in my heart forever.
How was it starting on a 1000?
@@lj7638Absofknlutely kickass😁😁😁😁😁
Thats not a 1000
@@juicy9592 950 is not that far from a 1000 lmao
Sorry but not turning on the quick shifter really hurt this video. Your the ideal person to give an honest bike review cause your not getting paid under the table like so many other UA-camrs. Please mention stuff like the suspension, vibration, noises, clutching, ease of riding in traffic, cornering, using the controls, jump on the highway for a bit and talk about how the wind hits you, stability, vibration. The test rides can easily bring your channel to a million subs because cause you know your stuff and not getting bribed to say what manufacturers want you to say.
My last bike was a track spect 2005 ZX10R which I sold in 2013. Haven’t drooled over a bike since then.
I’m astounded how much the ZX10R has improved.
My factory brakes use to pull me up from over 200kph with back wheel off the ground for a couple a hundred feet but needed a Ducati brake master cylinder to do that.
I want to feel those proper brakes! 😅
Love your test rides, in fact love all your videos. I’m learning a lot. Like your style. Thank you!
Thanks for another fun test ride on a beautiful bike!
Its the best he has ridden thus far. Respect. Maybe a different opinion if ridden a V4 from both Italians - Ducati and Aprilia but it is his opinion. Wondering how an H2 would be rated. Riding a Superduke after the inline 4s would be interesting.
Last year I bought my 2021 zx10r Krt after a looooong time considering gsxr, r1 cbr rr and Aprilia rsv4. I did all kind of research and I was lucky enough to ride all of them. The rsv4 was the only one contender at the end. Slight better performance, incredible sound, but not even close in how smooth and rideable this bike is on the day to day. Now that is tuned and has an exhaust its in another league in performance. Dont regret to buy it for a second
How big of a difference did exhaust and tune make? im looking at getting zx10r for my 2nd bike this summer.
Good gains in all the power band, but the gains over 11-12 k rpm are insane, its another animal
@@danielmanzano4627 Thats so awesome bro, who did u use for tune?
I dont track the bike and Im an average rider so I dont need the last oz . Of performance out of the bike. So i went with Moore Mafia and Im more than happy with it
How did the KRT and GSXR compare?
I wouldnt doubt it, i rode a zx6r for the first time at a demo day and loved it. My neck and wrists didnt but it was awesome, cant imagine what the 1k would be like
I have 23 zx6r and my god I love the bike. I was only used to cruiser, I have low rider S also, so I got the 6R instead of the 10R. I thought I better get my feet wet on 600 first. I love the bike and don’t think I could ever part with it . They are like works of art hey . Ride safe man 🤜🏼🤛🏼
My dream to own a big twin or M8 cruiser and a litre bike, before everything goes electric
Kawasaki has been my favorite since a kid. From. Dirtbikes etc. My dad had a awesome Kawasaki Ltd 1000 that was stretched and chromed out. Was a beauty. He then had a busa and that's the first bike I learned on. I'm now 31 and haven't had a bike for a few yrs now. And I'm going to get a 23 zx10r here in a month and cannot wait. This color was the one I think I'm going to get. It does have quick shifter up and down along with power mode changes. But you have to do so through the UI. Anyway I think this is a great vid.
I’ve taken my clapped out 08 zx10r across some states and back with no issue . Strong bike
the 2023 is similar to 2022. the quickshifter does have a setting to toggle on/off. the white shift light also can be adjusted to an rpm to be turned on.
Heck yeah you should buy one. Love to see some content on a fully blown sport bike.
I’m digging these reviews
I absolutely love mine. I bought mine from a friend who raced in one of the Motoamerica 1000 classes last year and I got all of his race kit (other than some specific bodywork and bits) for a steal. And pushing 235 BHP makes it...a lot. But I'm 6 foot even and it's comfortable for a sport bike.
can you call your friend and tell him that you new UA-cam friend needs one too, 😂
@@_MotoMa83_ well...my other friend has an 18 or 19 ZX10 he's looking to sell...but it's fully race prepped and track only lol. Otherwise I'd be all over it 😜
Are the foot pegs feeling higher than other sports bikes or the same?
Sounds like you’re talking about Ryan? He owns a shop here in utah. He’s my neighbor lol. Great guy!
@@kickinaddiction bingo! I was just up there today getting my ZX6 he took back after the last track day 😜
There is a setting to turn the quickshifters on - you can either have them on or off and tbh when I got mine I have never switched them off - amazing bike
I turned my on. It's great
6:32 is how most of us feel about real power in a bike, that snickering snark is very accurate.
Great video, amazing bike.
Would love to hear your take on the Kawasaki Versys 1000 se, keep up the great videos. Always watching your channel!
Just picked me up a 2023 KRT the green is stunning!
Motojitsu your are the onliest person nowadays who reviews brand new bikes. And i want to say that i apreciate your work, and wish break the leg
I have this bike! I mostly use it as a track bike, and the suspension and brakes come almost perfect for the track. The quick shifter on this bike is also stupidly nice. Surprised that I am just now seeing your video on it.
does it have a fuel gauge?
@@ricardog4459it shows you how much gas you've used on the display; at 3.2 gallons used the fuel light comes on (it will come on when there is just a gallon left in the tank), at 4.2 you are out of gas. You have to hit the reset button every time you fill up.
@@tekjess_ got it.
It's not a must, they are very inaccurate, but mine has it and I regularly forget to set the trip measure to zero. When I forget, it helps.
But thanks, just to keep in mind when I decide to change and go for test rides.
Ride safe, cheers ✌
To activate the quick shifter KQS just press Select ( from the right side ) press Arrow down ( from the left side ) at the same time and hold it 3 seconds
It will be activated right away you will see it on your screen
I love the new music during the walkaround. 😉
Yup ❤️....
The less flickability is due to the long wheelbase on this. R1 and MT-10 has short wheelbase, This has the wheelbase of a touring bike. Advantage is stability and ride comfort
a cat removal and aftermarket muffler in addition to a switch to a lighter battery does wonders for flickablity. R1 is likely lighter from the dealership tho
@@benning7bass that or just lose some actual weight
@@saramolet3614 are you fat shaming me? 😒
The factory suspension settings/springs are also very wacky! I tune a lot of these bikes (2016-2023) almost all of them are to stiff in the front and to soft in the back for 99% of riders. Larger riders will need heavier shock springs straight away, lighter riders need lighter fork springs. If you leave the stock springs, it will be almost no pre-load in the front, and almost topped out in the back. The shock needs almost all the rebound and compression in, while the forks will need about 2/3's. The best flash, is the 2 wheel dynoworks one. Removing the Cat/PAIR/Stock muffler for a 3/4 system, blockoff plates and 2wdw flash will yeild roughly 200rwhp, butter smooth, cruise missile.
@@Albertalorianwhat suspension do you reconditioned who riders around 230-240
My first bike (12 years ago) was a GSX-R 600... I currently ride a ZX-6R. Videos like this make me really consider stepping up to the ZX-10R... I love my ZX-6R... but cruise, auto blipper, a little bit more power, etc... would all be nice to have.
Bro in all honesty I would have bought this bike but I don’t have a garage to store it. I’ve rented the 2022 zx10r and I heard they only get better year after year. Bro it’s by far….the greatest most comfortable sports bike I’ve ever been on. Oh and when I take girls on the bike…instant panty dropper
@@spiritualru2364 😂👏👏
Very nice loving the reviews
Keep up the great work
Hated this bike appearance when I first saw it in green but in this black and gold it looks awesome!
On these reviews I like getting your impressions but if your not even able to get out of 3rd gear or get on any bends hard to see you be able to draw a conclusion. Maybe get a few test rides on bikes which have are not brand new so can push a little bit
Wow love the sparkly paint scheme, beautiful
The Kawasaki Quick Shifter needs to be turned on in the settings. Once done it will display as KQS under the word Gear on the display itself. Looks a great bike. I am looking for a sport bike that is restricted, street legal, looks good and for short rides. I have a Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX for my long touring rides and I simply love it
Love it!
I’m upgrading from a 2014 Yamaha R1 to either a 2024 ZX10R or a 2024 S1000RR, having ridden both prior year versions, which would you prefer?
I’m on the fence on this one and really value your opinion!
I just bought this today, love it
Great review. I wish you could get one without that hideous tank protector. Beautiful bike especially in that color.
How did the comfort compare to the gsxr 1000? I have a 2020 gsxr that I’m in love with. But I seen the new zx10r krt edition yesterday at the dealership and it really caught my eye .
Damn! I'm a new rider, but my goal is to work my way up the Kawasaki line to this bike. great review!
The R1 is lighter than the zx10r by a few pounds & that’s probably why it’s a bit easier to maneuver. I’m still zx10r all day. Dope video 👊🏾😊
Idiot
great video! I think you should try an Aprilia RSV4. i own a 2022 model, and find it more comfortable compared to the other liter bikes
Also the best sounding engine hands down
@@Antonio_zx6r well that's subjective. Tho most people would still prefer the sound of an inline 4
Best sounding i think the v4 engine on the Ducatis. The r1 crossplane are irreplaceable to me. But i still prefer the inline 4 due to i like something loud and screaming. Sound are subjective. Different people different taste.
@@hotdogou9242 I have a zx6r so I love the sound of inline 4’s. There’s just something about that Aprilia V4 to me.
@@Antonio_zx6r I agree with you! I have a SC Project CRT Exhaust on my RSV4 and it sounds amazing! Its definitely my favorite sounding motorcycle hands down. Its loud, mean, and unique!
Back in the day I was all Kawasaki with the zx7 and was converted to Yamaha when the R1 came out. Now that Yamaha is killing the R1 I may just have to switch back to the Kawasaki.
No one says you have to sell your R1...or go buy a 2023 before they're gone if you don't have one.
That kawasaki looks amazing, love the color on it. Would be cool to see more naked bikes review also. Maybe something like the new hornet if it's available
Picked up my 23 Zx10r krt last week. Feel the same way you do. Yes quick shifter is something you need to turn on in the settings menu.
Oh and yes you should buy it!!!
I just turned 55 in Nov, I have been riding since 18 on the street. Like you I have owned a lot of different bikes (17) I just wanted to come back to the liter bike game and the ZX-10R fit the bill. Now I have a 22 klx300, 2020 R3 and the 23 Zx10r. Love them all. Keep up the great content. Iam a new subscriber.
I have a 2019 model.
The quickshifter up and down has to be turned on in settings.
I rode new zx10r and I feel the gearing on the old one is much better.
Old gearing is just Tall gearing.
Waaay too tall.
Kawasaki comes from the factory with the quick shifter turned off go through the settings and turn it on ! You’ll love it
Lastest Kawas look really good, even the Ninja 400 and z400. Would really go for one of them if I could.
Man that’s a beautiful paint job
Can you do a final breakdown of the 4 major Japanese liter bikes? I'm leaning toward the zx10r, but haven't fully decided yet.
I've ridden them all, I own a 2016 ZX10R. The 10R is the longest/widest and lowest of them all, its absolutely the most comfy and absolutely loves the street (the BFF suspension makes everything else seem like a Pogo stick) the brakes are amazing. A Flash, and 3/4 exhaust system, these bikes dyno 200HP to the rear wheel! If anything happened to my 2016, I would have a 2023 in the garage the next day.
I have a 2020 gsxr 1000 and a 2023 zx10r . The gsxr is definitely the more comfortable bike for long street rides .
After riding these bikes in stock form you should find some people with them “unlocked” as in exhaust and tune and see how you feel about them, would probably change your opinion on some.
Well, he can't even push them since they aren't broken in yet, so at these revs they'd feel the same
@Bugside almighty these bikes are meant to be broken in hard
@@jjustinwithana I wouldn't like it if my brand new bike straight from the dealer had been "broken in hard" by some youtuber
@Bugside almighty I have a 2023 zx6r and I cranked it pinned out within the 1st 12 miles. Some inline 4s are meant to be broken in hard to make the seals stronger and I believe the zx10r is the same. There's a forum online by a renowned mechanic about the matter. Basically ride the bike early like how you want it to run throughout the life of the bike
I rode 1,400 miles in 2 1/2 days on a 2013 Passion Red ZX14R. It was a good ride, could walk each night to the hotel room. Which surprised me.
Love it.
Am so ready for a liter bike. Got to make it happen next riding season
@MotoJitsu, bro whatever you said! But I love my Kawasaki ZX10RR! Mine is 2018! the only newest bike I have right now is my 2022 Kawasaki Ninja H2 then my oldest bike is 2015 Suzuki Hayabusa 1400 and I love them all!! Otherwise my 1999 Nissan Skyline GT-R R-34 and my Mitsubishi Evo 9 does the trick!
my first bike after my learner was a zx-6r, must say like the look of this , i like that the kawasaki bikes felt a bit more roomy than the CBR's , i guess maybe i just got usto the ZX but I never liked the feel of a CBR , good to see the design looks quite similar to my bike from years back with im sure a bunch more under the hood to make it better
Sport bikes are awesome we need to recommended them more so they don’t disappear!
I want to start on a sport bike because that image is what motivated me to study, practice and get licensed to ride. If I want to sit back in comfort, I still have my car!
good luck

Gotta love Kawasaki
I’ve been shopping around for my next bike, i was looking for an h2 but for some reason every dealership i went to didn’t have any in stock and had like a 6 month waiting period minimum. The bmw s1000rr would be perfect if i hadnt seen the reliability issues people were having…
It's weird to me how this bike is not more popular (at least online).
In terms of how much you see them I mean
It's a setting for Quick shifter. They always have them disabled by default on Kawi is seems.
that colour scheme in my opinion is way better than the standard green and black, beautiful
How do you guys get the okay to test ride the liter bikes? No dealer near me lets you test a 1000
Jees....There are more tar snakes than road 😀.
I once sent my bike to the service for the works (oils and checks and everything), and the steering dampner fastening nut was a little loose....
Enough said that the tech guy gave it a go and everything was fine, but he set the steering dampner to close to maximum damning.....and for a few turns I though that I would run off the road because the bike didnt want to steer......
A few clicks down and everything was fine.....So it might be that.
Only thing that I don’t like but can be changed is the bazooka they use as an exhaust.
Damn that's right bro ZX10R is the best litre class super bikes
What a beast of a bike 😍
Highly recommend this bike

How do you find the riding position? I can't seem to find a comfortable position with rear sets, seems I'm more 'on' the bike than 'part of it'
Out of all of the liter bikes which one is the most comfortable in your opinion for 2023? Also would you put the hayabusa at the top of this list?
Nice can you try out a kawasaki vulcan s abs 650 i am from puerto rico
Does it have any torque in the lower rpm’s?
it looks like Vader from Star Wars when looking straight into its eyes LOL
I love the zx10 and s1000 but my op s1k has zx10 beat by far still.

Could you tell me,which litre class bike is the fastest with stage 2 flash
yes all it needs is a reflash and a 3/4 exhaust and its destroying everything lol
Just got that exact bike. It definitely has up and down quickshift. The instrument cluster is far nicer than my ‘23 ZX6R plus this has ABS. So for the money, the ZX10R is the best bang for the buck.
