      Cheers!! Yeah it’s a big one hey - definitely something I still battle with especially if I feel like my surfing isn’t getting the scores. But something everyone goes through I’m sure - cheers!!!

      Hey Steve!!! I won the logger division and placed 2nd for the open men’s (scored more high performance surfing) 🤙🤙

    On your best days surfing, how much are you thinking? Are you reactionary or anticipatory?

      Hey Michael - such a good question!! I actually covered this in a bit more depth in The Sunday Glide #114 if you wanted to check that out - but essentially on my best days it’s definitely more reactionary rather than anticipatory! When we react we’re going off of feel and moulding with the wave much more quickly rather than forcing anything or taking longer to register and perform certain manoeuvres! I hope that helps!!

    If i paddle out thinking negative thoughts about my performance - it kill's my performance more than helps it... Best to not blow thing's out of proportion in order to surf better. Better to have a I'll go on this one attitude - even if its a bit bigger wave then you're used to. This helps
