    Having multiple options to choose from is so important which will most definitely impact the length of crying. Thanks so much for sharing!

      It can be so hard to hear our LO's cry! The first few nights can be difficult. If you notice that the crying keeps continuing, it could be that your LO is overtired and needs some schedule adjustments! Always reach out to us if you need any support at support@babysleepmadesimple.com

    I need help my baby has really hard time falling asleep and staying asleep in her crib since she was 14 weeks old
    When she’s tired she will fight and scream and it takes a long time to settle her down before she falls asleep. I keep trying to put her in her crib when she’s asleep but once I put her down she is awake straight away.
    Any tips of what I can do to start getting her to sleep in her bed

      Hi Martina! Thanks for your message. How old is your little one now? Does she fall asleep independently at bedtime? Depending on her age, I would work towards having her fall asleep independently in her crib at bedtime; this will really help! Have you checked out our 21 Days to Peace & Quiet program? It's for little ones ages 5-24 months. Here is the link: www.babysleepmadesimple.com/baby-sleep-consultant. Please let us know if you have any other questions! Best, Ingrid, BSMS Support Team

    Should i wake 3,5 years old who is not longer napping in the morning on the same time? I have to say that his wake time varies at morning up to 1 hour but sleeps every night on same time.

    I have a 5 month old and I am exclusively breastfeeding. She always wants to go to sleep breastfeeding and I put her in the crib asleep. If she wakes up in the night or day hungry or some other reason, there is no way I can put her to sleep without feeding her. Even holding her or gently rocking is not working. Her cries get louder and louder. Please give me some advice😑

      This can be so frustrating and I remember being in the same position with both my daughters.
      The good news is that she is now the perfect age to learn how to fall asleep independently. Once she has learnt to fall asleep independently this will allow her to resettle herself throughout the night giving you those much longer stretches of sleep.
      We can help guide you through this process in our program 21 days to Peace and Quiet.

    My 8 months baby is sleep trained but still protest nap about 10 min before falling asleep during nap. Is that OK? Or she shouldn't cry at all?

    • @Babysleepmadesimple
      @Babysleepmadesimple  3 роки тому

      Hello Judith,
      It is okay for some babies to still protest a little bit. Some babies also need to burn off a little extra steam before falling asleep. I wouldn't worry if it is just for a few minutes before nap. It should to continue to get better with time and consistency!

      @Babysleepmadesimple  3 роки тому +1

      Hello!
      I would definitely consult with your LO's pediatrician regarding the reflux. We always want to place our babies on their backs since this is the safest sleep position until they can roll themselves over! You can definitely swaddle IF your LO is placed on her back AND cannot roll over yet independently.
      Please check out our 3 month old sleep guide for more helpful tips!

    Is there a good way help them transition to making a bedtime earlier? My daughter’s bedtime is 9pm and she’s up by 6am. I realize that’s not ideal as she’s every over tired. Her last wake window is 5-6hours 😦 we would love for her to have a 7pm bedtime. What would you suggest? When we do try to put her down at 7-8 she wakes up 3 hours later for hours on end.

      Hello Nikki,
      It can definitely be so exhausting when our LO's want to nurse all night long. Does your LO fall asleep while nursing? If so, this then becomes a sleep association and your LO will need nursing to fall back asleep in the middle of the night when she wakes. Definitely check out our 21 Days to Peace and Quiet program if you are interested in teaching your LO how to fall asleep independently! This will really help ensure she sleeps all night! :)

    I’m on night 9 of sleep training my 10-month-old. She still cries every time I lay her down, not for long, but she is clearly upset before falling asleep. Now she cries when we even enter her room and the light is off, she knows what’s coming. This is breaking my heart. Is it normal? Is something wrong?

    • @Babysleepmadesimple
      @Babysleepmadesimple  2 роки тому

      Hello Robyn,
      This does sound very normal during the sleep training process. Just like any new skill, it can take babies some time to understand how the new process works. Just keep an eye on your awake windows and create a calming routine, and you should see that this is just a short phase! Feel free to email us at support@babysleepmadesimple.com if you have any additional questions!

    Hi Jilly,
    I hope you are well and thank you for your videos. We are trying to sleep train our 11 month old and she started off fairly well for the first three nights being able to put herself to sleep quicker with each night that passed. We made the mistake of not being consistent with the routine and changed the routine when putting her to sleep. For the past 2-4 nights she has been crying whenever we try to put her into the cot or make our exit from the bedroom. We fear that this is traumatic for her and will have an adverse impact resulting in her being very confused on why we are leaving the room and what she needs to do (put her head down and go to sleep).
    Please do you have any tips or a video you could post to help with getting back on track.
    Thank you.
