You know how to tell a story and bring people on the hike. I'm really enjoying this. The flash crack boom!!! in the high country is something. It is hard to put into words how your guts can shake. Last summer I got myself into a situation with lightning on Sonora Crest just south of Highway 108. I had fear in me at the time, but looking back it was so exciting!

Oh my gosh Brooklynn, your narration is hilarious. I've already watched your JMT videos because I'm thinking of doing it myself next fall, but let me tell you, none of them made me do a spit take. I LOVE storms if I can hunker down somewhere, stay warm, and enjoy them. They are so very different at 10-12,000 feet and you are IN them!

Have to agree, I got caught in a few storms in Colorado once,lightening poppin off around me, I was scared pa ! :D
Was so darn loud though up in the mountain resorts,kinda cool tho :)

I cannot help but notice and comment on this, how you're leaning forward so much while hiking. I know I sound critical but I'm really on your side. Wouldn't it be nice to stand upright without any lean? That's what going ultra/light is all about, happy feet, better visuals, longer, faster, easier travel. Enough said. Lovin' your sense of humor along the way.

hay buddy hows that hummidity its 60% here lol cold as hell in side just fineshed a bear nacked trail mix bar lol ok till i hiked the south end of the AT never new a turkey could make sounds like a bear cub but i looked out and the turkey took off like a shot running for all he was worth lol
