    Garden Herbs Collab
Mary, from UA-cam Channel Mary's Nest, organised this collaboration and invited seven other channels to chose a herb they love and make something with it.
It is wonderful to be involved in this collab, sharing videos on a topic, ‘Garden Herbs’, that is close to my heart.
It has been lovely meeting some new UA-cam Ladies and getting to know their channels, as well as working on a joint project with them and some of the Ladies I already know through this fabulous medium UA-cam.
A huge THANK YOU to Mary for inviting me to be involved in the collab and a huge THANK YOU to all of the Collab Ladies for being so genuine and welcoming.
I am looking forward to watching all the videos and I would love for you to check out the playlist too and enjoy.
    Much love Elissa 💕

    Welcome to Moat Cottage Homesteading,
I'm Elissa and here at Moat Cottage, we raise and grow and process some of our own free range meat, organic vegetables and fruit.
We grow all of our herbs for both eating and medicinal purposes as well as hunt, fish and forage.
We preserve our produce for the year ahead by canning, dehydrating and freezing and we work on being prepared for emergency situations.
We don't like plastic, chemicals and artificial fragrances and are trying to live an older style life balanced with this modern world lifestyle.
Good health and natural living has always been a high priority for our family and despite this two family members are living with auto immune diseases, myself included.
We focus on what we can do, when we can do it, stay positive and so I make these videos for you on my best days.
    Much Love

Hi Elissa what a great channel & Im so glad I’ve found it, may I please ask what you do with the spent Lavender botanicals after infusion?? Can that be used for anything at all perhaps added to a scrub or bath soak?? Such a great recipe Thankyou x

Hello TeAira Adams and welcome to Moat Cottage, yes the lavender botanicals (after infusion) are nice in a lavender bath milk.
You just have to strain the lavender out, so your drains don’t get blocked with all the wonderful lavender. 🛀

Hello Danny Brown, oh how I wish I had of added the outtakes to the end of the video. 😂 I film on my phone so unfortunately I have to delete the footage to make room on the cloud for the next video, I really should start to back up to the hard drive more often so I keep the footage.
It was a tongue twister that I couldn’t get right, it was so ridiculously funny.
