- dilo is the best stego hunter in my opinion. I really love to fight them and it's even more fun as solo dilo. beside our big battle we had some nice encounters as well :)

Great video i love the fact that you fought to stegos for a majority of the video but died to a random herra
yeah, it was unlucky, but also funny in a way. first I was pretty disappointed when the other stegos arrived. then I thought, well, let's try to find the other dilos and give them a rough night. this ending was also welcome tho, because I had so much footage already anyway

@@holliegould3463 can't say. I don't even know from where exactly it was coming. but, it had to be pretty high to oneshot an adult dilo, I guess
You did so well! It must have been a little frustrating to lose a fg dilo when you were being so patient with your hunt, but I know that had to feel amazing for that herra. He had to have jumped from a high distance to one shot you, but he also stumbles and has to get up so you know it was a tall jump!
I was a little frustrated when the stego army arrived. because I thought I had enough footage, but, can't end the video like this. so, I was preparing myself for another night attack. I was thinking to group up with other dilos and give that stegos a rough night. so, honestly, I even welcomed that ending even more because as you said, this was an awesome kill. I would have been so proud if I was that herra

That was a jump scare at the end, lol. I was not expecting that ending at all. I think the steg was completely out of stam. It only bit you at the end and never swung, but it's a big gamble if they're bluffing.
There are always turtles on the peninsula where the teno killed that turtle for you. They are usually where the grass meets the sand, but they can also be where you ate yours, off to the north where there's a small section that goes that way, the beach in front of the sanctuary, or even further west along the beach where you'll need to walk around the rocks, with the rocks being on your left if coming from where you came from. If you can't find one in those spots, then wait where the grass meets the sand, and within a few minutes, they'll spawn due to how AI spawning works. Usually, it's within a few minutes, sometimes a little longer. I'm trying to think of a time I couldn't find one, and I can't recall any. Not saying it didn't happen, but almost always I can find one if I did what I just said. I was a dilo main and had hundreds of hours around that area eating a lot of turtles. It's also the only reason I know all the spawn locations, lol. There's a spot you can check before you cross the water. I spawn west rail, then go to the pond to look for frogs for S. From there, I follow the road that leads to the beach and check the beach area to the right. It's a spawn location, but only occasionally.
I will say I haven't played dilo since this last update went live. I did play the horde branch and this info was still true. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk on where to find turtles of southern Gateway, The Isle. 😀
yeah, this herra scared me so badly too. I had to turn up the volume for that kill, because I wanted you to be as scared as I was
thx mate, the grass tip is interesting. it's the only area where I found turtles. not as regular as you said, but, I also didn't look as much in the grass, so, that's a very useful hint
hi mombie !! 1 thing u should know : when u scent the red icone it's mean there is mixpacking : so : more than 1 species ^^ so when u scent the stegs and saw the red group items it means the herra was there at this moment, it show the carnivors only ^^ so u can follow it while u snifing ^^ good luck bye ^^
what? since when? the red symbol shows groups of three dinos. it also shows a pack of three omnis. this has nothing to do with mixpacking, other than they changed it very recently. I didn't see anything about that in the change log. so, where do you got that information from?
@@da.mombie i saw that too, maybe it's a bug, but when a herd pass by with 1 carni the red thing is showing the carni ^^ so u can scent where he's ^^ but i've seen it only 2 times ^^

naja, ich find eich schwanke sehr. war früher als utah oft ganz gut dabei und hab mich oft wacker geschlagen. dann kam eine phase wo mit utah gar nichts mehr ging. es ist echt komisch. manchmal läuft es fast wie zu meinen guten alten zeiten und dann spiel ich wieder meinem alter angemessen
damn the herra XD! tbh i cant even be mad when it happens to me, the set up time for a perfect ambush is a ridiculous amount of waiting. its hard to pull off they deserve the win.
I love that attitude. I feel the same. it's such a deserved kill, I can't be mad about that. even more I had to laugh so hard later on, because I got scared so badly
@@da.mombie same thing happened to me on Ptera the other day, I jumped so bad 🤣 didnt even care I put so much work into that thing then never got to nest. just giggled a bit and took it as a sign to get off for a while and clean my room.

It's a treat watching you play a carnivore and pvp. I thought you were gonna take that stego out for sure. He's lucky he had a buddy and reinforcements. Crazy that you fought 2 stegos solo for 15 minutes and then get one shot by a herrera. Great video but I feel a Part 2 is in order. The ending the anticlimactic ☹.
thx mate ♥ yeah, I really enjoyed that fight until the many other stegos arrived. I also was very positive to get that stego down, but, I also loved that ending. this herra did so well and scared me so badly. I also love surprising endings and this was for sure one of them

They should allow Dilos to spawn in south plains because with their new spawn in the northwest its very hard to find ai and other people so most dilo starve to death while trying to get to south plains, it really sucks
the "west rail access" is right next to the south plains. you can reach them within 3-5 minutes. so, you can easily reach it before you starve
@@da.mombie Well you have to cross a huge mountain and a giant cliff and go all the way down the river cross it and you are likely to get killed in south plains and have to start the journey all over again, i think it would be better to just spawn dilo directly into south plains so juvis don't have to travel that far, its too time consuming and gives dilo an unfair disadvantage.
@@cd9675 I don't feel like it being a disadvantage. in fact, I don't like to be able to spawn at the same place over and over anyway. I would love the spawn timer to get back into the game
@@da.mombie Agreed. I mean, if they at the same time fix the issue with lack of AI, especially small things that can feed smaller dinos and juvies. It would be a good step towards trying to avoid "hot-spotting" being too prevalent, leaving the rest of the map seemingly empty. And as well as some new tweaks to the migration system.

thx mate ♥ yeah, herra has a multiplier. don't ask me about the exact numbers, but, it's weight multiplies with the height it jumps from. a pachy or omni have 500 kgand 450 kg. I knew they are onehit. a dilo has 700 kg tho, so, this mate had to jump from pretty high, I guess

Hah and in a past recent video you said you felt like an average player, when I said your pretty skilled......lol that was two stegos you where solo hunting, was very impressive actually and you had that green stego easy, they lucky that the calvary came and even then the herra stopped your night hunt 😂.....give your self more credit!

thx mate ♥ yet, I am average. there are way better players out there but, you don't have to be a pro in this game anyway. it has no ranks. so, you meet all kind of players. from skilled to completely new. therefore you always have a chance to meet someone who is at your skill level or even below

I bite the stego then get 1 hit by its tail. So fun!
stegos are a challenge. you have to hit many times, but aren't allowed to get hit in return. every single mistake can be your death. that thrill is the fun. nobody is forced to attack them. a stego shall not be easy prey to everyone. it's for those who love such challenges
I thought head bites were supposed to be automatic stage 3. Never seems to happen to me.
not vs stego as far as I know and even less during the day. venom gets much stronger at night. the bigger problem was the time I needed in between the bites. the effect of the previous bite was often gone before I could got the next bite in.
congratulations Mombie for the video I missed your video with the dilophosauri I'm sorry I couldn't kill that stego but it was a good battle. listen in the next video will you come back with Herrera?

petra can hunt beipi, troodon, hypsi and many juvies of all kind. the problem is, you have to hunt off the air. ptera has terrible stam right now tho, so, it's very very tricky (at least with my skills) to proper hunt at the moment

Kind of ridiculous that a herra can 1 shot a dilo..
I like it and it also isn't easy to oneshot a dilo. you need a pretty good timing, because you have to jump off from very high and the dilo has to stand still for quiet a while. many things have to come together to get such a kill. so, I am fine with it and happy for that mate. because I would have been proud of that kill

@@cristian35099 Omni tiene 450 kg, dilo 700 kg. Entonces, para un Omni no es necesario que esté tan alto.
el hitbox es un tema aparte. si te golpeó incluso cuando ya no estabas, entonces ese es el hitbox y sí, desafortunadamente a menudo es bastante malo.
Es difícil decir cuán realista es. Se podría argumentar que una bola de bolos de 10 kg desde una distancia de 10 metros sobre la cabeza de una persona de 80 kg también sería fatal. Pero, para ser sincero, personalmente apenas pienso en ello.
En mi opinión, es bastante divertido y justo. Simplemente intenta jugar a Herra y matar a un Dilo adulto y a un Omni adulto. Apuesto a que necesitas al menos 5 horas. Probablemente incluso más cerca de las 10 horas. Según mi experiencia, la posibilidad de tal muerte es bastante baja.
