The (nearly) Invisible Folding Stair Gate. Part 1 of 2

As subscribers know we have dogs and therefore a stair gate handy to stop them running up stairs. However I hate the way they look and fold and wanted to create something that became almost invisible when folded away.

All the parts bar one can be bought from your local DIY store. the only thing I had to get online was the Chicago binding screws, which I got from Amazon.
