He had a loaded offense in 2021 and he couldn’t even break Tony Roma’s record without going against a bunch of backups, and we finally had to face good defense like the 49ers he looked like crap so there will never ever be enough weapons for Dak.

That would make the most sense as for this year I would draft an elite pass rusher or somebody that can make a difference in a game in the first round especially if you have a top five draft pick
You thought Rush would go in there with this roster and beat the eagles ? We have the worst GM in the league we already blew 2 draft picks for absolutely nothing . I think Rico Dowdle would be having a good season. If Mike McCarthy ran the ball more but of course he’s a terrible coach, and he refuses to do so. as for TE, I think Jake Ferguson is a good tight end but if you can find somebody better wouldn’t be against it. Definitely need two defensive tackles. We’ve been needing that for years. Maybe one offensive tackle. Definitely agree though the Joneses have been pretty bad, the last couple years on their draft picks Only one that we’ve taken in the last two years it’s looked any good has been DeMarvion overshown and maybe Cooper Beebe and that’s it

My hope would be somebody from the well established coaching tree like the Shanahan one. I like Aaron Glenn who used to play for the Dallas Cowboys from the Detroit Lions. Ben Johnson would be a good option. I like Kellen Moore as well. Mike Vrabel is somebody I think would be a good fit. We need a Young, innovative coach, we don’t need a retread or some washed up old coach in my honest opinion.

Dak Prescott in his prime was a top 12 to top 15 quarterback, meaning that he was an average to slightly above average quarterback that with a lot of help could put up top five to top 10 numbers. But now he can’t run the same way he used to which was like 40% of his game and he has never been an elite passer he’s in trouble. The reason why I was so against paying Dak was because he needs a lot of help in order to succeed. He is not an elite quarterback that can elevate an offense. So therefore, he should not be being paid as such. The Joneses tried to pay him the first go round a $30 million contract and a $34 million contract, which for the time was way more than fair for what he had shown which at that time was that he was a top 15 quarterback at Best, but he turned it down because he wanted to be paid as if he was a elite quarterback which he is not. And yes physically he is more talented than Rush but his decision-making inside the pocket at times is not very good and even this season, we were barely averaging 20 points a game when he was out there at best, he may have scored two garbage touchdowns. But he does not elevate the offense, CeeDee Lamb, and these receivers that he had over the last couple years were the ones that elevated the offense.
Don’t quit on the Cowboys! I still believe this could be our year! If we play better on defense and produce more on offense and special teams we could make the playoffs
