Beautiful preaching. I did not fully understand God's calling on Holy Matrimony. I thought it would have been impossible for God to save my marriage 17 years ago having led a life of promiscuity, and I received the calling to go on a pilgrimage to Medjugorje. I was transformed instantly when our Blessed Mother entered the hotel room to lead me out of darkness to Jesus in the Eucharist to strengthen my faith and save my marriage. I now would rather die than have to disobey God's calling. God transformed my hardened heart so there is hope for others to know and love God's natural law on marriage and family. Praise God.
Oh, wow amazing testimony. May you continue to grow in His love and calling, pray for those who are struggling with promiscuity and their marriage.👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Please pray for all suffering spouses who see themselves or their spouses slipping into an overly sensual situation that draws them to dismantle their marriages. Especially pray for the innocent children who suffer from such entropic ruptures between mom and dad. Lord have mercy! Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen
Friend, you may not know that you can pray to Jesus yourself. Read the any of the four gospels to see how Jesus beckoned people to come to him, follow him, obey him. By so doing, if you read with an open heart, you will see how much he loves you and shows the way to be reconciled to God (read John chapter 14). May God bless you!
Sounds like a perfect fit for you. My maternal ancestors were Brahmins in Kerala. By God's grace, you have and will reach the next level to understand God's Love and the universe on the profound level which He originally created your spirit for. It is an inner fulfilment for those of Hindu heritage to perceive deeply the overwhelmingly immense love of God for you. Then you can hear the angels and Heaven during the mass delight your soul with their directing you to God and nourishing your spirit with spiritually-profound friendly greetings. God will speak to you in His Holy Eucharist at Adoration and the Saints will reassure you in their sanctuaries or even apparitions. Your interior self will perceive such wonderful Beings and you will visit places you would have never thought possible. It is the natural evolution for a Hindu to become a Roman Catholic. Amen 🙏
I've been a Baptist pastor for more than 30 years, and I listen to Bishop Barron every week, sometimes, like now, right after our service. Lol? Yes, and PTL!
Better watch out pastor! Listening to B. Barron resulted in me (a very devout evangelical) converting to Catholicism. There are untold riches of wisdom and mercy in the Catholic Church. Bishop Barron is just one small example of the staggering intellectual and academic brilliance that has accumulated over 2,000 years. God bless!
Wow. Bishop Barron, I'm a lifetime practicing Catholic and listen to your Sunday homilies every week and have done so for years. I also read the daily scriptures and your reflections on them, and have participated in many Bible studies through the decades. Yet you open up the meaning of the scriptures in ways I've never heard. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate God's gift to you of teaching that you share with us. I pray that our parish priests would be given a portion of that same gift that God has given to you. If that were true, I believe our churches could not hold all the hungry hearts that would be coming to feast on the Lord. I pray for that in Jesus' name. Amen.
Thank you Bishop Barron. I'm catholic at birth and going to church for 56 years now.....still finding something new from your Sermons. God bless you Bishop. From Canada.
Thank you, Bishop. Your homilies always make me tear up; always. Every word you utter, gives me a higher understanding of Scripture. I listen to you every week (after my own parish priest’s homily) and I feel so blessed to be alive in a time where I have access to your channel and sermons all the way from Asia. God bless you.
Thank you so much, Bishop Barron. I don't miss your sermons. From Mexico City, I follow your preachings and teachings week by week. I thank God for your life. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Every day I pray the rosary. The last decade is always purely thanksgiving to God for chasing me as the Hound of Heaven and never giving up on me. Genuine thanksgiving feels so good! Thank you Your Grace for helping God help us.
Amen! "So it is with everyone of us" - Indeed, I can only confirm this. Bless Bishop Barron for his ministry of speaking the "Word on Fire" to the world right here on UA-cam! What a tool of Divine Grace modern media can be when used in service of the Most High. Such a blessing! Thank you, whoever is contributing to bringing Bishop Barron's insights & wisdom to us. From Brussels with sincere appreciation!
Bishop Barron, you are such a wonderful gift to the Church. Thank you for the work you do to help us grow closer to God by opening up the scriptures. It's obvious that God called you to this special work and thankfully you answered that call. May God continue to bless you and your work.
Thank you so much, Bishop Barron, for this most insightful, beautiful, thought-provoking sermon, Great to meditate on. I believe, help my unbelief. Faith is definitely an all-in situation. Peace and blessings to you from Aotearoa New Zealand
Beautiful homily, such rich symbolism in the story of the blind man! I’ve always loved the resonance of “kyrie eleison” at Sunday mass. Now that I understand its origin I’ll appreciate the response even more. Thanks bishop for helping me to see myself in this story, for helping us on the way!
This makes sense. We were all made out of nothing in our mother's womb for a specific purpose. Therefore, it is God's grace that helps us succeed in life, especially in the spiritual life.
Our God indeed is a covenant keeping God. Has he said a thing and not perform it? I watch how things unfold in my life, from penury to $155,000 every three months and I can only praise him and trust him more. Hallelujah🙌🏻❤️
Bishop Barron that was a beautiful explanation of "God's CALL". Somehow I thought I understood it thoroughly until you explained it. It's like I' m hearing it for the first time. Thank you and I love you!❤
Dear Bishop Barron, I listened again to your homily. You have been blessed to be able to break the Word of God and help me to apply it to myself. Indeed, you make the Word of God alive! Please pray for and bless me.. (Fr. Alex - 81 years retired priest in ministry)

what a powerful homily - I am nothing until I answer Jesus' call. Have I done that or am I resisting? God, I want to give all I have to You. Help me do that...help me.
Praying for those in the war zones, who haven’t heard God’s calling as yet, to make a detour, towards peace on earth, taking the right path to a better purpose in life… saving lives by not taking lives. To God everything can be made possible, just need to let themselves be guided by the Holy Spirit, if only they will listen attentively to hear clearly. A choice to be made. 🙏🙏🙏✌️. If one is willing, God paves the way. 🙏❤️ Life’s journey isn’t always a smooth travel, the roads could be bumpy in some areas, could even get stuck somewhere we didn’t dream of; but there’s always hope, and before we realized, we succeeded finding a better, safer route to travel towards our intended destination. 😊🙏
Thanks and blessings Bishop Barron for your Sunday sermons🙏🏻❤️Lord have mercy on me🙏🏻What a wonderful thought to think of Bartemeus at the beginning of every Mass🙏🏻!

I read the reading yesterday and said Lord it is difficult to understand your words. But listening to you this morning from Ghana it's like a elixir. It's so comforting to ad so much filling the hunger deep in my gut. Thank you.
I love Bishop Barron liturgy he has so much integrity and how he explains the gospel clearly about the ego of in control but at the mass we like Bartemeus we we follow the teachings of Jesus Christ 🙏🙏☮️
Bishop Barron your sermons are always very interesting and thought provoking. There is a wonderful saying that this reminds me of - Love always makes the first move. It's the most beautiful thing in the world. Thank you so much, once again.

I appreciate the insights Bishop Barron draws out of the text for the Gospel. As sinners, we need a reminder that the life of faith is about being called to follow God's way. We get a good example from Bartimaeus who, as a blind person, sees powerfully with the eyes of faith and recognizes Jesus for Who He is, and calls out to Him, not stopping even when others seek to silence Him. As with other miraculous healings, Jesus commends His faith, by which God's power is already at work in His life. It's telling that the next sentence after this Gospel passage is when Jesus enters Jerusalem for His Passion. One priest I know, who likes this story of Bartimaeus a lot, speculates that Bartimaeus followed Jesus to the Cross. Bartimaeus truly found a whole new lease of life in Jesus, and was devoted to following Him Who alone brings restoration to our world as the Great High Priest called by God for this mission. We follow Him in carrying on this mission.
Beautifully said..your sermon Bishop..May the Holy Spirit enlighten me as he did with you...May God grant me his grace to know my purpose here and follow him 🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤
This sermon has given me the clarity of what life purpose is all about. The difference between ego project (my will) and the calling (His Will). Amen

I relate with what you are saying, Bishop Barron...
Thank you Bishop!
Thank you
A beautiful sermon thank you
I appreciate the insights Bishop Barron draws out of the text for the Gospel.
