JN is a Good driver on oval tracks and on road courses. He WON on both tracks and titles. Need more oval racers and oval tracks. Al Unser and A.J Foyt my Father and my favorite driver all time are the best driver in American racing history and racing history,a fact. They were Great drivers. Now they are Good drivers and could be Great drivers in time.
The greatest oval racer i ever saw apart from Rick Mears!! But i'm starting to worry about his recent lack of consistency on road and street courses ...
In 2021, he would have won the championship if his transmission hadn't failed at Road America. And in 2022, he would have won the championship if he didn't have a suspension failure at Iowa.
Instead of filling the off season with random content, why not make the on season longer? The biggest challenge IndyCar faces is the season only lasting 7 months. A 5 month off season will always lose the interest of fans
We’re just going to ignore the field of young drivers developing their race craft faster than ever? Going to Penske and putting career to autopilot and get wins and poles is not guaranteed. Will Power sacrificed and used his willpower to overcome 3 generations of talent and dominated them all except that guy Dixon. No excuses Newgarden and organization needs to work again period.
Yeah Penske was bested by Ganassi and others on the street and road courses in 2023. However they won the championship in 2022 going 1-2 and McLaughlin showed some great pace to close 2023. I think 2023 was just a season they got beat by CGR which is going to happen they’re elite with elite drivers.
Josef seems like such a genuine and classy guy. Great interview. So thrilled he won the 500 this year.
Hands down greatest Indy 500 victory celebration ever!
Newgarden earned that 500 win, raced his way to the front. He's the best American racing driver since Mario Andretti.

He was gifted the 500 !
Uh and the sky is pink?
I'm sorry but he didn't win the 500, he was given it. It was stolen from Ericsson...
Who has their face on the trophy?
Cope
@@Indycarfanatic2024 Well, so far it's Ericsson, given that he is already on it and Newgarden not yet 😄
