  • Jesse, Mike, Andrew, Kosta & Rich OUTDOORS leave Hotel Forestel in Val-d'Or and head north to Matagami. Freshly groomed trails all day, with not a single bump! Great combination of some twisties, with some fast lake running and hydro lines. The warmest day of the trip, at -15C. Cannot ask for any better then this!

      It certainly was. But with the width and straightness of the trails, we could have squeezed another 200 kms but it wouldn't be as enjoyable! Cheers,

    Great video, man am I jealous I commented last week about that favor Trail. When we stay at the Forrestal now we order out from st hubert, the Chicken and Rib place after staying there for the last 12 years it's always slow best breakfast though. You guys are lucky up there. Last year on our second and third trip up there we stationed val-dor, For a couple days there's so many good trails in that area. We use the ski doo soft sided saddlebags we slide them right underneath the seat, It holds gallons of oil perfectly along with other Smalls great set up. Awesome trip guys, Power on

    Nice video!!! Ride your side though guys. Gotta practice what you preach. Running 100 km/h and meet another guy coming the other way also hogging the middle of the trail and that's a 200km/h head on. Would not be fun and will happen so fast you won't see it coming (no time to react). Keep up the great videos. Love seeing them!!!

    • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  3 роки тому

      We find it around 500m to a km in the powerlines but in the trees only eye range to 200m at most. The trees kill the connection, and the hills. Cheers,

    Awesome, LinQ, communicators, and GPS are must haves. Hot tip, G4 glovebox cell phone holder can’t live without, phone stays charged, local maps or ride command always displayed and easy access to communicator app. Because of it I’ve ditched my Garmin. I would like to see a review on your travel cover and oxygen helmet, Will the Oxegen work if without cord ie if lost or broken on a saddle bag trip? Being a Army vet I like all my gear work, I’m running a BV2S (works with or without cord) now but doesn’t sound well we our communicators, (UClear motion 6)

    • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  3 роки тому

      Thanks for watching and thanks for everything you army guys do! Awesome. We are also running the glovebox extensions with the cell phone holder and love the setup. The Oxygen does tend to fog up if you don't have the cord plugged in. We carry an extra cord on the bigger trips just in case. The BV2S is ok but we love our Oxygen helmets - especially ultra cold weather riding. You feel the heat and its the best helmet on the market designed for communicators. Incredibly quiet and you can listen to your music clearly all day long! Cheers, Mike.

    • @chrism4351
      @chrism4351 3 роки тому

      You always have the option to crack the shield on the oxygen if you loose power. Not ideal, but in most conditions you can ride with it cracked without getting too cold and that airflow will keep it clear. Because of the way the shield seals down low you don't get an automatic draft that will freeze your face off like in any other helmet. Just enough flow to de-fog things. I carry a spare cord as well which is definitely plan A should you have a cord failure. I find I have to do crack the shield in cold weather when I want the sun visor down even with the heat on and working. If not the visor fogs. The flip down visor is arguably the biggest disappointment with this helmet. BRP's marketing saying flip it up and it will clear is complete BS though. There is no heater in the top of the helmet. It's just relying on the heat from the main shield collecting up there which I find only means the condensation from my breath collects up there. Still a great product and by far the best helmet I've owned. I would buy another one.

      Hey, im from Ontario and have ridden all over Ontario and quebec. Ontario definitely has it sweet spots ! But quebec with its 5 star trails and beautiful elevation and scenery changes is by far the best ridding anywhere! . Most of the trails are taken care of by the people who depend on us snowmobilers to come and spend , not towns that make extra on the season, so it is very important to keep us coming and trust me ...once you try it you will definitely be hooked!

      @@sledaddicz thanks I watched it. Just wondering how that case worked for you? Any issues with snow or cold effecting the camera with the loss of the seal for the charging port?
      I'm assuming you can't just run the mic without the case because the charging door has to be open to use the port for the mic adapter

    • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  2 роки тому +1

      The case is excellent and you still get a seal on the charging port because we have the mic adapter plugged into it. I would recommend using the same setup. You need the mic adapter though to make it all work and you can't just plug it in direct. The only thing we had to modify was the spot where it clamps with the bolt, because it doesn't pivot the way it comes. It's squared so all I did was file that part down to make it round and then the case pivots properly up and down.
