First off, thanks for the content! You, your footwork, and personal style with the sabre, is the biggest reason I became interested in HEMA and began the journey.
Secondly, I am a lefty, who generally faces righties. Do you have any advice on combinations/misdirection that I should be focused on mastering, from this perspective? Also, is there a most common guard I should default to, after attacking? In the short time I have been at this, I find the most success parrying from the inside line from a mid hanging parry, to a moulinet, and a 4 cut to the wrist/thigh/hip. If I am initiating I like to hit their sword upwards from hanging guard, and do the previously described attack, or back blade 4 cut. I find that I get struck in the head a lot even though my attack is successful.
Lastly, your ego talk was really amazing! As someone who has coached wrestling for over a decade and is also a parent, it was really well presented along with your boundaries. I told my wife that I hope you have kids, with that kind of wisdom!

Красивое фехтование. Здесь я увидел удовольствие от процесса и отсутствие сильного соревновательного компонента.

I can see why our ancestors so often wore shin armor to battle.

    Beautiful!
BTW, I guess, it will be nice to see video about your footwork, maybe even a tutorial.

Check hanging guard thrust against enemy hanging guard, one going over their blade. You can do it from blade contant like mutieren or without blade contanct. Try it, you will like it

На самом деле нет, даже если работаешь на обычной работе. Тебе норм клубы дадут экип, оружие; докупишь все нужное и вполне качественное за 1-1.5 года.
