This anime is a masterpiece....my most favourite so far....the characters,the plot,the environment,the soundtracks everything opened my inner eye....I will be forever grateful to all those who directed and created this series....Thanks a bunch for uploading. Listening to this music reminds me that I am actually alive,its probably my favourite anime soundtrack..I miss the old kino series....I wish they extended that series some more...the new one was great but it missed the kino I longed to see more...the personality got different.
I like hir/him because she/he had this, I don't talk that much and can handle weapons well, kind of character. Bad is kind to people or motorcycles who tried hir/him kindly.
I say, hir/him or she/he because the author of Kino no tabi (Keiichy Sigswa) originally had not intended to give Kino a gender and for me Kino sometimes switched between male and female.
Edit: Nevermind I found it. That so exciting, I didn't think they were going to make more. The voice actors are different though, I just hope they don't try to reinvent things too much.

Flute notes are all on par with piano (treble clef), so it should sound the same. Play the notes on the top lines (again, it's called treble clef), that's the melody. Just look up "he is speed and i am balance piano" and it should pop up.

Well it's an original composition, but the others' replies are all kind of right. I'd call it an original easy-listening, atmospheric composition inspired by instrumental folk music.
I do hope it's good. Having just watched the original anime version, I'm not sure if a modern version will really fit the atmosphere. I liked the old, 360p quality it had, with a less digital-looking art style. It just fit the story so well.
