You're still getting confused about the charges guys. The app didn't work correctly when you tried to calculate the charges for a £2500 car - it was still displaying the charges for your £2000 car. When buying anything at an auction house or a car auction, you will typically be charged a buyers premium of 15%, then any other fees are added on to the sales price. When that's all added up you then get charged 20% VAT on top of the total.
As a rule of thumb in auctions, estimate your actual cost to be at least 40% higher than the final bid price, thus your £2000 car actually cost you nearly £2900. A £2500 car is going to cost near £4000! That's before you think about transport costs.

I would not touch a peugeot GTI or anything Ford ST from Poopart ever, all of those I see on the road are being ragged. Recently seen the same ST at my local garage for a headgasket, my mechanic told me it was clearly ragged from cold. Recently bought an A3, but before anything else I did 100% checks on the car and found a few minor issues despite a 100% clean record - when you do that, it's then very easy to have the seller drop the price as well, got it £1500 under market value.
8:30 so, you went in there without even an OBD II reader, ouch.

Depends on the miles. Theres been a few fiesta st's low mileage those are the ones you want to entertain. Wouldn't entertain high mileage cars always a risk on copart with them. Been using copart for years and always go for Low mileage and works out well so far. No matter what theres always going to be a risk of the unknown but its part of it.
