This is totally cool!! I love the colors and your cells are amazing. I understand what you meant w/the catalyst wedge and the black but I think the whole piece is woohoo!!Thanks for sharing.❤️
IT TURNED OUT REALLY NICE, I LOVE DE COLOR PALETE, YOU ARE A GREAT ARTIST, META, THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR SHARING YOUR ARTWORK. MY BEST WISHES, GREETINGS AND BLESSINGS FROM 🇲🇩.
This is so pretty! I love the cells and the pearls. I am not usually fond of the catalyst technique, but I love this one and it’s composition. Thank you!!
Very beautiful! I just love the colours ! Absolutely wonderful creation! Awesome technique & the result is stunning 😍Thank you fir sharing your technique with us
Sorry I missed this one. My Boss/ best friend passed away when you posted it and it slipped past my radar. These colors are real Pretty Meta. It’s so nice hearing the peace in your voice. I absolutely love that price if you haven’t sold it already I would be interested in buying it. I’m going to be in your area the weekend of June 18th.
HI Derrick, I'm so sorry to hear about your boss/friend! I hope you are doing ok. If you are interested in in this piece it is available. Message me on Facebook. I'll be around the weekend of the 18th. Sending love!
Hi Rhonda, first of all Thank you! Second, here is a link to a video I created showing exactly how I mix paint for this type of technique. ua-cam.com/video/1TSsApTaZxo/v-deo.html
Pretty awesome piece! I have a question about your drying rack. Is that something that was purchased as is, or is this something that was made specifically for you? I would love something like that!
Sorry I missed this live but you did a marvelous job at this double helix I see what you mean about waiting for the cells to develop but I think it still turned out awesome 👌 💜🦄
Hi Meta, love the job you did here. I'll be honest, I was so amazed the first finish you started with....and then you magically transform the paint in real something. Wow! Just one question: did you mix the floetrol and paint 1oz to 1oz to create this piece??? Thank you for your response.
Hi Sam, Thank you so much! I really appreciate your comment! The metallic (colors) Are mixed differently than the pour over (black). I have a video on how I mix paints for this technique. Here is a link! ua-cam.com/video/1TSsApTaZxo/v-deo.html
What a cool experiment...I would be afraid to have attempted the swipe on such a beautiful pearl pour (still fighting my pearl pours lol). I would love to try something like this to add dimension and depth like you accomplished with your piece. Question...do you think a notched resin spreader would effectively work? The one I have is made of plastic so it is rigid- is your catalyst wedge is flexible? Thanks!
I think it would work! What I used was a notched metal icing spreader that came with my cake spinner. (Though I've since got a traditional silicone one that's a bit more flexible, the metal worked just fine.
Hi Barbara, the pour over doesn't have to be black. (Though I am partial to it) I've used White many times for this technique, and I've gotten other colors to work as well. (Using Liquitex Paint)
Holy cow Meta! Those ribosomes are popping and not a single transference error during transcription! Love love love it

Did the black have cell activator..
Have u ever tried adding a few tablespoons of Deco art satin enamel to your black or white paint with these extreme sheen metallics?? Love to see that
I haven't tried that, but it sounds like a good experiment!
Love it! This is my first time on your channel. Do you have a video of how you mix your minwax wood conditioner with your floetrol and paints?
Welcome Michelle! And yes I do! You can find it here. How I add Minwax to Floetrol to Create Amazing Effects!

That must have been so hard to swipe!
The catalyst wedge makes it really easy!
Hi, I am a new pourer and I’m curious what your mixture ratio is for PM and CA? Thank you
Hi Susan, I have a video that goes over exactly how I mix paint for this type of pour. You can find it here!

Does your pour over have to be black? It seems that's what I see everyone use. It is so pretty and I liked the swip. Thank you
