Great video! I acquired my first car, a R50, last year, and have been considering getting a R53 to do track days. Your video is an inspiration, that's exactly the sort of car I dream about getting for that exact purpose. Unfortunately my R50 has the Midlands disease and I'm too worried about breaking it by doing any kind of Motorsport (plus I don't have another car if I break it).

They are great for the money, we’ve only done one track day with them, they did pretty well! We have other areas that need improvement first for definite, but I’d imagine in the further a upgrade would be on the cards the more the car develops!
@@BPMDevelopments could you make a video about them? maybe you can try to let us understand how good they are at high speed, cornering and bouncing, and how hard/soft they are... I heard a lot of rub below the wheel arch but it could be an impression only.. Thanks!

My first car was an R50, my dad had an R53. Fantastic cars. Great chassis and balance, love the supercharger

Not yet bud, engines standard, just with an intake and exhaust bolted on, it will be getting some extra ponies once we’ve sorted the brakes out!
@@BPMDevelopments get the hobo intercooler. Even without new supercharger pulley the whine and speed is so much better .
