I _especially_ love the part where you bridged the music along with your voice (around the 1:02 timestamp) that was _absolutely_ *BEAUTIFUL,* and for me, this pushes your rendition up into my TOP favorite version of this. (Previously my favorite rendition of this song was by Deana Carter)

You did nail the pitch and overall emotion of the song properly; however...
...the plosives and esses in your vocals overpower everything. Even with the pop filter I can still hear the plosives cutting through too much to the point where the first phrase sound more like "Dancing pears" rather than "Dancing bears." In addition, if you're mixing your own vocals, you should seriously consider using a de-esser plugin. De-esser's will tame the harsh esses in your vocals around 6.5-8K in the frequency range.
If you're on a budget, a TDR Nova is a freeware VST that works great for this application.
However, strong effort. For me, it's a 7/10. Not a perfect cover, but at least you did nail the fundamentals of the song.

Dancing "pears"? It's dancing bears. When she sang "figures" it almost sounded like "fingers". Very pretty voice. Just for a native English speaker it's funny to hear those sentences and sort of ruins the moment. Shame. Pretty voice.
