Hi Mia. I love your music, your fun, go-getting attitude and your personality. Go for World domination baby! You can do anything you want. Not many multi-instrumentalists out there - you're the no. 1 multi-instrumentalist I know and really good at it! I love all the gigs you have done. Please come to Cairns in Australia - I would love to see you! Or even Atherton - we need you in the country!! Cheers. Daniela
Just think from here at Vlog #1 alllllll the way to Vlog #33 I think is the most recent. And alllll the things you've done in between. Look how far you've come. So super happy and proud of you. You have a bright, bright future. Much love!!!!
Great video, Mia. I can relate to all the setup regime. Reminds me of a gig from years ago. My 1970s vintage Rogers drum kit required "only" a drum key to set up everything. It was advertised as "set it and forget it" in their brochures. Except, one night I TOTALLY forgot to carry a drum key with me to the gig! YIKES! I had to search everywhere for a mini wrench that would fit the lugs. Never forgot my key after that! Keep the videos coming our way, but don't ever slack off on your school work. You won't regret it years from now if you do well now.
I always love your dads question Mia ! They’re either humorous observations with slight sarcasm, or simple questions of real value. I like the way he thinks. You 2 are almost like a comedy team, and I do mean that as a compliment. 😊
Hey there :) My parents are big on trying to give my brother and me opportunities to figure out where me might like to end up. (Not sure music was their first choice but as long as we really work at whatever it is, their supportive).
You're lucky to have parent that will uproot the family to a new location, ust so their kids can have a better life. Thats almost unheard of. I guess they were fortunate to maintain their jobs too or find better ones !!! GOOD LUCK GIRL!! 👍🤘
Glad you liked it. I love it when I play shows for her too. I'm guessing she'll end up in other blogs as well because she's hired me for a bunch of shows this fall too. Thanks for watching :)
Live videos in these little cafes are great to watch. Nashville looks like a really nice city, PK subban must love it. I’m from Montreal Quebec Canada!! Love your videos!
Sweet video... So, I haven't played in a while, but watching you play has fired me up a little -- just bought a little 4 piece set. Fun for the hot Texas days when I don't want to go out. Keep up the great work! Cheers...
Ha! I learned long ago the printed itemized gear list is a must for loading up...[to prevent those moments when the gig anxiety dreams come true!] Good job Bailey for getting you the setlist ahead of time 👏👏👏 She's awesome, it must be a blast to play with her...
Just watched this again. You are entertaining just your self! You don't even have to play. I'm still laughing about forgotten equipment. You looked puzzled on what to say. I'm sure alot of people cheer up when you show up. Stay happy and cheer others up. Your dad and mother must be proud.
I was a bit surprised when my dad harassed me about it on camera but I figured I better answer. It's been discussed at several load-ins after the, "incident" :D
Oh yeah, definitely more of this. Dad has good editing skills. Makes it even more fun to watch. And yes to the autograph before you are famous. It won't be long. The singing drummer, kinda reminds me of Phil Collins.
..with more hair his old drummer, (after he went solo and sang everything) gives me a lesson once in awhile, his name is Chester Thompson and he's a great guy.
love to watch you young people rocking out. your the hope of the nation. my fav is gene krupa on the live version of sing, sing, sing. he starts pounding, picking up the beat.
I'm glad you liked it. Nashville is really like nowhere else if you want to be a songwriter. LA, New York & others have lots of great music scenes but this place has the songwriters and it's just a nice city besides. Thanks for checking out this video and for taking the time to comment.
Thanks Mia for showing us what you do before you do what you do. You are the best! I'm sure I'm speaking for all when I say we love you out here in UA-cam land!
Your amazing! love it! Make more. Been following you ever since I saw you doing hot for teacher! Since then I have seen you do other rock, country and various drum solos. Your talent amazes me. I'm a fan for sure! Keep up the good work, Mia!
Thank you for watching and taking the time to tell me what you think about this vlog. Based on the comments today, I'll do it again when something interesting comes along. Glad you liked it :)
I think there is a very good chance that will happen. I've got a weeks worth of shows where I'm hired as a bass player down in Florida. I'm really looking forward to the challenge.
Hi, MIa! 1st vlog; close to 1500 views on the first day! I think that this is going well! And the day is nor over yet! I enjoyed seeing a side that we did not see before when you are preparing for a gig! Yes, you should do more!! And don't be too rough on the school thing- I am a retired teacher!! LOL!
I love my teachers and so far, I've had straight A's. The problem is I spend too much time on homework. I need to just wrap my head around learning the material but trying to excel at the things are most important to me and not everything. That's not as fun as it used to be and I'm realizing music is more important to me than some of my classes. Anyway, man I'm rambling tonight.. I'm glad you liked the vlog - I'll do it again :)
HI! I was kind of joking about that! I'm sure you always do your best at everything! Congrats on the straight A's! But I was not kidding about being a retired teacher though! LOL I always enjoy watching your videos - some 3 -4 times! I spent about 20 minutes on Inst. last night, looking for posts I had not yet viewed - found a couple! All this to say that you are an amazing and talented young lady! Adélard
Hey, Mia! Now also this video has the English subtitles! Your explanation of your musical instruments is Happy and Cool. I hope you had a Great Thanksgiving day with your Family. 👏😀💙, Renato
Thank you. It's was a little strange to do but I'll try a few more every once in awhile and if it's like everything else, i'm guessing it will get more comfortable.
I'm glad you like these. I've got a total of 10 so far and I make more during the summer because I'm gigging so much, I don't have as much time for covers. Thanks!
Oh No! The kick pedal? I feel for ya. Some how or another I left my amp head at home and had to borrow the opening acts head. The band started saying I'd forget my head if it wasn't attached, lol. I really enjoyed this video. It's cool to see how others prepare and what they take. I imagine I'm ready to perform and imagine what I need to make sure I take everything. Thanks for your replies. I realize how busy you must be and how many fans you have. You are the complete musician/songwriter.
Ha, I can see where that line could stick around with a bunch of band members. I'm still getting better and better systems and ways to carry and account for the gear. Here in Nashville, there are always so many acts or artists on any given night that changeovers always need to be fast.. probably excellent practice tho.
Great vid young lady. Hope to see more live footage in the future. Gigging, playing w/other people will really speed up your learning process. Peace. JR
I always thank the sound man and try to be as agreeable as possible. You guys absolutely make or break the whole thing. I can't believe some of these artist don't get that.
That was amazing, Mia! Sorry it took so long, been wrapped up in an online game. 😝 Would love to see that whole set. Please? You harmonize so well! Reminds me of Sheryl Crow! She sang backup for Clapton, but you probably know that. God, you're going to be huge. Your dad is totally cool, but I knew that. Thanks!
I didn't know that about Sheryl and it's really nice to know. I really love working for that particular artist because she wants me to do anything I can so I get to fill in lots of pieces. Cajon obviously but some bass here and there plus Cajon then with backups it gets REALLY fun. I've got no issue backing up artist, it's great practice and quite satisfying when they are talented. I always learn something. I'm glad you liked the vlog :)
Mia Morris Just occurred to me that I have never replied to you when you've been kind enough to reply to me! I looked Sheryl up on Wikipedia, and I was correct in my assumption that her most famous backup vocals were with Michael Jackson. I thought so, but wasn't sure at the time. I really hope that you can post that whole set. I loved the little bit you showed. It's so cool to see you on a real stage! I've been in bands, and I know how awesome it is to be onstage. I just really enjoy watching you. You are just an amazingly cool and talented person, and I just get so happy watching you perform. You're amazing, Mia, and I look forward to your videos. It sounds weird, but I'm so proud of you. I can't wait until the world sees your talent. You're going to change lives! Peace
I've worked on hundreds of productions and during load out and pack down, always do the "idiot" check! What's missing, what have I forgotten. Lol Great vid by the way!
Wow. Amazing drumming! Found this when I came across your Hot for Teacher cover. As a Rush fan I would love to see you tackle one of their songs. Keep up the good work-a fellow Nashvillian.
Great video Mia I have played for gigs to with no set list and its ok if its old standards that everyone knows but of course it does not work like that good thing is you can fake it on the drums for the most part just keep it simple but if you are on bass or guitar then not so simple in a perfect world they would make sure you have a set list and a copy of the songs to practice so you feel comfortable on stage and can enjoy the performance all I know is your amazing and I wish I had someone like you around who plays multiple instruments its fun at gigs to do a set on bass then drums or guitar the crowd loves it and it makes the nite more fun for me to :-)
After doing the Song Suffragettes gig for months, I'm getting a lot of practice learning songs as they unfold but I couldn't pull it off on anything other than Cajon at this point. I agree with you and love being completely prepared so I can enjoy the ride.
I recognize that drum beat! That’s the breakdown right before the solo in the song “No one knows” by Queens of the Stone Age 😏 I suggested you cover that song before, I hope we get to hear it soon enough! 😀💙
Dear MIA , good morning my beautiful ANGEL and how are you to day I do hope you had a very good time with the SUFERGETS , My beautiful magical Angel friend you look absolutely beautiful your absolutely brilliant musician and singer and songwriter your a star 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟your great 👍👍👍👍I do wish thoes stars were gold medals you deserve every single one of them your brilliant your smile 😃is so beautiful and your eyes are beautiful to I love you for ever and all ways please stay safe and well ,from David ps your really great 👍👍👍👍
In reading your description of the video, I have to say, in my opinion (and I think I can speak for us all), I wholeheartedly believe you've reached your goal of being a musician. Most definitely. May I ask, have you done any lead vocals while behind your kit ... in the vein of other great drummer vocalists like Don Henley (Eagles) or Phil Collins (Genesis), Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters and Nirvana) and even Karen Carpenter, just to name several. Keep shining like a star!
That's very kind and I've recently been thinking about singing while playing drums. I don't really have a mic set up that lends itself to it at this point but I think it could be cool. I would think a headset mic would be the way to go for moving around but you can't move on and off of them so it's not especially musical. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion and for taking the time.
You are most welcome. I play guitar and it's challenging, at times, singing and playing. I'd think it would be so much more difficult singing while playing drums but you're challenging yourself all the time so I think you'd take to it and do great. Thanks for your videos!
A big Like! School's a drag, but ya hafta endure and make the most of it. Are you in school band yet? In future videos, hows about introducing your ever supportive family? Hello .... from Iowa!!
Hello - I remember my brother was shooting one of my videos and he panned over to my dad and he was quick to give him the, "point that the other way" gesture :) Not likely he's gonna play a big role any time soon.. I'm glad you liked it.
Hey Mia, I see your approaching that Million Views with V.H cover Hot for the Teacher. It will be great when a song you write and play all instruments on makes a million plus in a short time. I sure hope the UA-cam people didn't ask you not to use Green Screen. I feel that more people will watch to see all that is going on with you and the background. I watch it many times and see more then the first couple! Do well in school and keep with it, Lord I made it some how "lol" and your smarter!!
I've been waiting for that but so far so good :) Thanks for thought on an original going viral - I can't imagine how that would feel to have something you made out of nothing connect with a bunch of people...
Have you, will you, or any plans to enter the Hit Like a Girl contest at any point? Just curious, I think you're among the best of the young musicians and might be a great experience!
I'm aware of it but for some reason, I just don't really get into contests. That may change at some point but that's how I feel right now. I appreciate the encouraging comment either way - thank you.
Right on Mia. Keep hammerin' away, and _do_ take the advice from the pro (Larry Dicus) who commented in this thread. He's right, and you already know the drill: looks, talent, proper gear (which you have in plenty) don't make the difference. Brains, hard work, right-place-right-time, anytime-anywhere, and knowing how to conduct/comport yourself at practice and at work, along with those other prerequisites, do. Btw, another advantage (imho) you have is this: That "conduct/comport yourself" factor includes/ _requires_ "never let 'em see you sweat it". That goes for _both sides of the stage,_ front door to stage door, and with all whom you encounter no matter what their status, "small to tall". You've got that on lock as far as I can see. I really admire what you're doing, keep after it bud.
Thanks for this comment and I will work on remembering that small to tall part too. I'm good with the small part, (like my mom, I'm a people person) but the tall part is a real thing in Nashville. Lots of musicians in this town are better on their 2nd instrument than plenty of famous people are on their 1st. That sounds crazy but I'll be at a show and realize the guitar player that is blowing my mind is actually Paul Simmons drummer. TRUE STORY!!! A guy sent me a DM today on Instagram that is a touring guitar player with some country band that actually plays like Steve Vie and he wants to maybe work on something. I know I'm ranting now like a crazy person so I'll stop but I guess what I'm trying to say is... Good musician, in Nashville is it's own category and the only reason I'm not freaking out is because I've got a decent start and I'm still young. - Alright - I really appreciate your encouragement and I fully intend to keep after it and hopefully, you're right about me :)
+MM In my humble opinion, you have a _really_ good balance of confidence/humbleness, knowing your strengths as well as being cheerful & positive about the things that you know you want to improve. That kind of personal "even-ness of attitude and professional comportment" goes a long way with the Tall Folks, maybe even more so than technical prowess in the over-all, because it shows that you're easy to associate/work with and not prone to flighty, unpredictable or unreliable behavior that interferes with good business and successful marketing. Once again, just my opinion, but "present" to them the same way you present to us here in "window world" and I suspect you'll achieve very positive results. Thanks for your very kind reply btw, and take care.
Enjoyed the video! I can't believe how you respond to everyone who comments on your videos, that kind of consideration doesn't exist on UA-cam. My guess is when you channel really blows up you won't be able to keep doing that, heh. So much talent at such a young age...I'm envious.
well... not everyone - I've learned what a few acronyms stand for that I probably could have done without but that's the internet for ya. The comments might be a little harder to deal with when school starts but if someone is nice enough to take the time, i feel like it's not asking much for me to do the same :)
I do - I'm pretty good about that, (except when I'm listening to rap and my brother is driving). I'm not sure what brand but I've got some in-ear monitors that have a foamy earpiece that I roll up and it expands in my ear.
I'm happy to hear that. I'd like to have more content to be able to share and I do these sorts of things quite often. I will do some more when something interesting comes along. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.
Aloha Neighbor! Okay .. this was amazing! Definitely do some more of these. So .. did I convince you that all girl bands are Definitely NOT a gimmick? 😀 Hope the Suffragettes thing works out. Oh and another negative school thing is the Drama! OMG! Please try to avoid that! My daughter had mostly guy friends because of girl drama. 🤣🤣 You're awesome Neighbor! 😀🤘💕😎
Hehe Not exactly.. the Suffragetts is just the name of a constantly rotating group of singer songwriters. I just want to play Cajon for whoever is there. Of course, they don't even know me so I wouldn't take that goal too seriously.. There is no way these girls could stay in a band together. Ha! you think school girls have drama - try a bunch of girl singers! Anyway - glad you like the vlog, I'll try it again.
It really seem you got your shit together, playing small clubs, having a good support and awesome parents. I know school might seem like a pain in the ass, but trust me...down the road being educated is really fucken good.
You god damn right kid, it will help to focus your mind, write more creatively with story's or song lyrics, no matter what you do music will always be a part of your life, and when you look for love, find a person who going to stick by your side you and cares about and not just the cutest boy, and if you hit the road look out for shitty managers, try to find bandmates that let you contribute to the songs and you click with, and drugs...there alot of fucking drugs on the road kid so be smart and stick to music....ok im done sounding like a dad...sorry.
well.. that's how it's done right :) I've tried other methods that don't work as well. It's nice when the improvisation happens in the music and not anywhere else.
School is THE most important thing you can do for your career 😈 It’s awful, it sucks... but it’s so important. Your education will determine the quality of your career - that sounds weird but it’s so true 🧟♀️ Thanks for sharing your world Mia!
Hehehe - I was... pretty good. I like pizza, a lot. My favorite pizza in Nashville is 5-points pizza on the East side - best new York style in town imo.
Wonderful to see behind the scenes. You are advancing and learning in every way. You aren't even out of school yet but you;re getting an education similar to college. Hands on and making connections is obviously what opens the doors for you. Keep on playing and thank you to your folks for providing the kind of support and guidance you have had and will need. Neat! You should post where and when you are playing too!
I'm glad some folks found it interesting. This year has been a huge eye opener for me and the music scene in this town is really amazing. I can see where it could be discouraging to come from somewhere else and find the caliber of players here but I try to use it as motivation...
UA-cam Space is in Los Angeles, CA. It’s a place to learn more about making videos for UA-cam. In their words: “Get hands-on with the latest production technology or master the fundamentals of production with in-person training from industry experts, manufacturers and top UA-cam creators.” Peace. JR
Jonny was on it. I went to their creator studios in LA - Wow! ...and they will be expanding across the street to an even bigger layout. The gear they had there was insane and Marshmellow was there too :)
Very beautiful video! A day in the life of Mia. Very interesting and enlightening. I am sure that we will hear and see a lot, much of Mia in the future. The video already has the status of becoming a cult video one day. Bravo Mia and all the best for your future! 👍👏💛
Norbert-Tristan E. It's great to see you on here keeping up with Mia! You have great taste and you know tallent. She had me laughing on why you count equipment. Take care Tris.
Mia Morris Mia Morris Yeah. I'm sure. If some part of the drum kit is missing at the show when you need to use it..... happened to me with my Snare Drum. It was really bad. I don't want to go back to that day..😂😂😂..... what you did when you realized that the kick pedal is missing?
Fortunately, with a Cajon, it's normally played all in the hands. I try to make it into a more flexible rhythm section with the kick but that day, it was just a box :)
Mia That was a great behind the scenes video. You are so cute when your dad ask why you count equipment. You've been busy. You'll get there Mia I have confidence in you, that's why I keep up with you! Keep it up, you will be graduating school faster then you think, just stay with it. This was a great update. As I stated in the past "B.A.D YOU are. You are great. Thanks.
Great vlog. It’s really cool to see how your life is as a musician. Someday I will see you in person when you go on tour and come to the Bay Area. I would like to see you make more vids like this one!
Nice dave grohl/queens of the stone age drumming! Hopefully no triggers at all this time? Would like to hear a complete raw drum mix/sound (no samples) on this one... But "no one knows" i guess?
Looks like you're still having fun. I'm having fun watching you have fun. But be careful and don't let stress spoil your fun. That would spoil my fun. See how selfish I am?
Hi Mia. I love your music, your fun, go-getting attitude and your personality. Go for World domination baby! You can do anything you want. Ha! I can picture that. I'm sure that's the right advise on school - I'll try to remember it :)
I always love your dads question Mia ! They’re either humorous observations with slight sarcasm, or simple questions of real value. I like the way he thinks. You 2 are almost like a comedy team, and I do mean that as a compliment. 😊
Great to see all the behind the scenes stuff Mia. Nice truck too!
Ha! Thanks, i'll tell my dad. My 16 year old brother gets to drive my mom's car.. not the big truck :)
Great video! Sounds like your dad is backing you all the way. That is so great. You're fortunate to have a good family to support you.
Hey there :) My parents are big on trying to give my brother and me opportunities to figure out where me might like to end up. (Not sure music was their first choice but as long as we really work at whatever it is, their supportive).

I Love her voice. Really authentic traditional country sound.
Just watched this again.
You are entertaining just your self! You don't even have to play. I'm still laughing about forgotten equipment. You looked puzzled on what to say. I'm sure alot of people cheer up when you show up.
Stay happy and cheer others up. Your dad and mother must be proud.

Congrats Mia, on the new gig. Keep up the great work.
Thank you. I play with a few singer songwriters here in town but I play with her the most right now.
Oh yeah, definitely more of this. Dad has good editing skills. Makes it even more fun to watch.

You are amazing. I predict an explosion in your career soon.

I've actually given some serious thought to doing a version of that. Maybe someday.. Thanks for your support.
Mia Morris I really enjoy your music. the only talent I have is listening and enjoying.
That was cool. Went to Nashville with my daughter August 10 for the first time. Great town!
I'm glad you liked it. Nashville is really like nowhere else if you want to be a songwriter. LA, New York & others have lots of great music scenes but this place has the songwriters and it's just a nice city besides. Thanks for checking out this video and for taking the time to comment.
Patience and how to overcome adversity these are a few of my favorite things oh and Mia rocking out....🤘
:D Have a great weekend Tim.
Well I`m in the UK and you got me hooked love watching your videos - keep it up Mia
Right on - thank you very much :)
Thanks Mia for showing us what you do before you do what you do. You are the best! I'm sure I'm speaking for all when I say we love you out here in UA-cam land!
That's very nice and I'm glad you liked this format. I'll do some more when I feel like it might be interesting.
Love the Vlog. Congratulations you did great! Thanks for sharing.

I really like this video Mia! I thought it was very interesting and entertaining! Would love to see more!
Loved the video, great to see behind the scene stuff.
Right on - I feel like enough folks liked this sort of thing to do it once in awhile. Thanks for letting me know.
I like it. Cool seeing a little behind the scene action too. Its not easy and you are doing an great job. Good luck when school starts ;-)
:) thanks - school will be fine.. I'm glad you liked the vlog!
Nice video Miss Mia! Glad to see you are still working on your music. I'd like to see you play your bass guitar in a video sometime. Take care.
I think there is a very good chance that will happen. I've got a weeks worth of shows where I'm hired as a bass player down in Florida. I'm really looking forward to the challenge.
Mia Morris great! I look forward to see you play!
Little sis at it again. Ur subs wanna c things like this. Soooooo good job!
Alright then, I will keep this in mind for interesting shows in the future. Thanks for the support.

Very cool vid✌ behind the scene. You got great versatile talent. Keep on Rock'in 🎼😎
I'm glad you found it interesting. I wasn't sure if drum channel subscribers would take to it.
Yep got it. Back to school 😨 Summer went to fast. Before ya know it you will be graduating High School some day 👍
I like these shows I get to see what kid of person you are up lose and personal good luck with school

Love it Mia do more, and some of your live shows too
All right, I'll keep that sort of thing in mind. I've got some shows coming up that might be interesting.
Great vid young lady.
Hope to see more live footage in the future.
Gigging, playing w/other people will really speed up your learning process.
Peace. JR
It looks like I may be getting some more of those chances - thanks for the encouragement :)
Cool video.. Lots go on behind the scenes. I've loaded a few bands in and out. Back in the day. I was a helpful sound guy.
Thanks!
"Girl's gotta eat!" That killed me.
Peace
Awesomeness!! Living the life
:] well, you saw 1 day. I'm sure not everyone would consider it awesome but I love doing it right now.
Excellent job love how you play Everlong video is my Favorite keep Rockin 🤘🤙❤️
Nice catch :) I was learning that one when I was putting this vlog together - thanks!
I’m lovin’ this !! Yesssss!!!!!!!!
I'm glad to hear it. I'll probably try a few more every once in awhile.
I would like to see how you go about learning a cover song :))
One musician to another. You got talent!
Thank you for that, I appreciate you checking out some of my work :)
Mia Morris your welcome! Keep rockin n Rollin!
Great vlog. Great job!!!
Thanks very much - I'll try some more at some point :)
I've worked on hundreds of productions and during load out and pack down, always do the "idiot" check! What's missing, what have I forgotten. Lol
Great vid by the way!
Thanks - I hope I don't have to learn that lesson the hard way... again.
Wow. Amazing drumming! Found this when I came across your Hot for Teacher cover. As a Rush fan I would love to see you tackle one of their songs. Keep up the good work-a fellow Nashvillian.
Hello - some of the scenes must have been very familiar then. Rush has always been on the list.. not sure when.
Love your professionalism. Great topic also.
I appreciate that and I'm glad you liked the vlog. I've got a new one that should be done on Friday.
Hi Mia, cool video, that pizza looked pretty good 😀
:) I was pretty hungry so it's hard to say for sure...
I recognize that drum beat! That’s the breakdown right before the solo in the song “No one knows” by Queens of the Stone Age 😏 I suggested you cover that song before, I hope we get to hear it soon enough! 😀💙
Nice catch - Sometimes I do the songs people request... :)
Multi talented👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I like working on being multi talented, it may be a stretch to say I'm there yet :)
Cool vid...yes please do more v-logs!
Thank you - you got it :)

It's fun to watch this video! I enjoyed that. Who with you during the trip?
Both my parents went to this show. Thanks for taking the time to watch :)
you're welcome!
You seem to have it all...great drummer, guitarist, and singer! Oh, and you are very cute😉
Thanks for taking the time to check out this video and for the nice comment. Glad you liked the vlog.
DON´T FORGET THE KICK PEDAL =) you are hillarious when you want !!! hugs MIA!!! i´M RE WATCHING ALL YOUR VIDS AND VLOGS. ttyl on IG

Very fun!
That song is a blast to play!
🎼KEEP IT UP AND ALWAYS ROCK! . Doing great! 🖤
Thank you very much :]
Mia Morris I GOT YOUR BACK!
Up close and personal... nice vlog, Mia and kudos to dad as well!
I'm glad you liked it. I'll try to do them once in awhile.
Hey Mia,
I see your approaching that Million Views with V.H cover Hot for the Teacher.
It will be great when a song you write and play all instruments on makes a million plus in a short time.
I sure hope the UA-cam
people didn't ask you not to use Green Screen.
Fair enough! You certainly don't need it to validate your abilities! Keep up the great work and have a great school year!
Speaking as a drummer..keep rocking..you are doing great.
I appreciate that - thanks for taking the time to comment.
😂😂😂 Forgetting a kick pedal. Reminds me of "Home Alone". Were you cooling the pizza or drying your fingernails? Keep rocking, Mia.
:) It wasn't near as funny at the show... I hope that's a mistake I only have to make once.
Mia Morris I'm sure it wasn't. Most of us have had similar experiences. It's never funny until after the fact. Btw, great video. 😎
Simple answer...yes, do more of these.
Alright then - I like decisive input :)
Do you use any hearing protection when you play the drums? Just wondering cause I can’t tell. If so what kinds do you use?
I do - I'm pretty good about that, (except when I'm listening to rap and my brother is driving). I'm not sure what brand but I've got some in-ear monitors that have a foamy earpiece that I roll up and it expands in my ear.
Cool Vid Mia More More
:) Thanks - you got it!
This was pretty freaking awesome. I definitely want to see more of these types of videos. So cool
I'm happy to hear that. I'd like to have more content to be able to share and I do these sorts of things quite often. I will do some more when something interesting comes along. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.
Mia Morris you are very welcome :) I agree with youtube though. :) Do different types of videos and try to make a good living out of this :)
Thanks for your support.
Maybe this list of 4,500! all female bands might convince u. :-)
rateyourmusic.com/list/sandiron/the-best-all-girl-rock-band-1/
Very Nice Mia , kisses from Brazil 🤘❤️
:) thanks for watching
Your covers are awesome! Ever thought about some RUSH and Neil Peart?
For sure - I will tackle that at some point.
It really seem you got your shit together, playing small clubs, having a good support and awesome parents. I know school might seem like a pain in the ass, but trust me...down the road being educated is really fucken good.
Ha! I'm absolutely sure you're right about school but I'm gonna keep doing everything I can to create alternatives along the way...
Very pretty and full of energy Mia ⚘
Thanks for hunting down so many videos :)
@@miamorrismusic You are very welcome and thank you ⚘
So Mia did you ever do a song called Only God Knows Why by Kid Rock
I haven't but I'm listening to the song right now... the sensitive side of kid :)
Keep the vlog. It's interesting to see "behind the scenes"
I think there are 9 so far - thanks.
I see there`s a lot planning and getting organized when getting ready to play some where ?
well.. that's how it's done right :) I've tried other methods that don't work as well. It's nice when the improvisation happens in the music and not anywhere else.
Getting exposure on the music scene in Nashville as a teen is going to pay dividends!
I'd like that to be true... I guess I'm gonna find out.
School is THE most important thing you can do for your career 😈 It’s awful, it sucks... but it’s so important. Your education will determine the quality of your career - that sounds weird but it’s so true 🧟♀️
Thanks for sharing your world Mia!
Thanks for taking the time and I'm sure your right.. ;( I do well in school but I really don't like the time homework takes.
That pizza looked awesome.
Hehehe - I was... pretty good. I like pizza, a lot. My favorite pizza in Nashville is 5-points pizza on the East side - best new York style in town imo.
You should start doing video reviews of pizza places I bet you can score some free food that way. Mia the Pizza Nazi?
Interesting process. Just makes you a better musician.
Thanks for taking the time to watch - I appreciate it.
Especially liked your chipmunk voice.
:) That was how my mom's voice sounds in my head when she says it...
LOL!
the world is yours!
:) thanks for your support.
Is youtube not in San Bruno, CA?
UA-cam Space is in Los Angeles, CA. It’s a place to learn more about making videos for UA-cam. In their words:
“Get hands-on with the latest production technology or master the fundamentals of production with in-person training from industry experts, manufacturers and top UA-cam creators.”
Peace. JR
Jonny Roxx
Thanks for explaining that about You-tube I was going to ask Mia about that.
Thanks for the kind comment and I'm glad you found this entertaining :)
Keep on jammin' Mia! 🎶🌹
:D Count on that.
😂😂😂haha 1:18. really cool vlog (:
HA! It wasn't near as funny at the show when I realized it wasn't in the building...
Mia Morris Ho ok cool idea.🤘🤘. I hope the show was good... 🤘🤘
Mia
That was a great behind the scenes video. You are so cute when your dad ask why you count equipment. You've been busy. You'll get there Mia I have confidence in you, that's why I keep up with you!
Keep it up, you will be graduating school faster then you think, just stay with it.
This was a great update.
As I stated in the past "B.A.D
YOU are. You are great.
Thanks.
Appreciate I do, your encouragement :) Thanks for all of your support.
Great vlog. It’s really cool to see how your life is as a musician. Someday I will see you in person when you go on tour and come to the Bay Area. I would like to see you make more vids like this one!
I like that plan and would love to play on the West coast at some point. Thanks for checking this out and for taking the time to comment.
4:53 😂
Electronic voice!
I listen to quite a range of music.
Nice !
:D Thanks!
CANT WEAR FRUMPY CLOTHES ON STAGE!!!🤣🤣🤣 LOL Mia
:) heheh - those were my mom's words ringing in my ears...
Good video vlog
Thanks - I'm going to do some more coming up.
Nice dave grohl/queens of the stone age drumming! Hopefully no triggers at all this time? Would like to hear a complete raw drum mix/sound (no samples) on this one...
But "no one knows" i guess?
Look at the good ear on Ale :) I just can't get enough Dave right now...
You should try harvester of sorry by metallica. Tons of cymbals in it. You might dig it
I'm sure I would like it but Metallica is not crazy about letting covers stay up. I still may try one at some point.
@@miamorrismusicyeah, i should of figured as much.
I could listen to you lecture all day long; one more day,
Looks like you're still having fun. I'm having fun watching you have fun. But be careful and don't let stress spoil your fun. That would spoil my fun. See how selfish I am?
I like the suggestion regardless :]
Well I got to see your green Screen!!!
Yes. It's actually in quite a few one way or another in intros or bloopers.
Miaaaaaaa....😘
Yooooo
