Stuck deciding on this one over...all the others. Your review helped narrow the search. Good call on putting a piece of rubber or foam padding between the base and the top to avoid rattle, nice to see people using their minds in product reviews.
I like the aluminum top one better. It looks like I could use it for my Sun Oven, and I trust it more for the hot pot I take out of the sun oven. I'm not afraid of even setting a hot dutch oven on this. I wouldn't consider doing any of that with the cloth top version, which I think is of much less use. Just for fun, I'd like to see you try to sit on it. (Please post if you do LOL). Other than the size of the stored table, I can't see any advantage of the cloth top over the aluminum top. I like the firm, planar surface, that won't spill narrow base cups. Solar cooking is one of my favorite things to do, especially when the fire danger is high. Much safer, especially if the whole thing gets knocked over. That table looks quite stable. It would take a strong gust of wind hitting the mirrors of the oven for that to even be likely.
Camping table must be multipurpose. The hard top is stable for cooking and camping foods are precious. In car camping weight is not an issue. The table is low and more stable. I would buy one.
I bought the medium; though it got to me late, I had ordered it over a week before leaving on a trip, and it still didn't get to me in time, I think it'll serve me well. I'll write up a review when I get a chance to use it next year, on my motorcycle trip.
Thanks for the review. Mind telling me which size it is? They have small, med, and large.

Is this table the Small Medium or Large version?
I was looking at the soft top..now I think the aluminum... Thanks for the review!
+CrazyDaveIowa agreed, the aluminum is the best option
2 chairs and the aluminum top table arrived a couple days ago.
Nice set up...they will come in handy.

Whats size es that table ?
I’m going to buy one of these. Great idea about the strip on the cross bars. I’m gonna use that idea!

I see there are open grooves/spaces, could you roll dice on it? We play dice games when we are camping!
Just bring a rubber mat.
I'm getting 2. Put em together for making meals I'm thinking
Is it lightweight?
Is that a small, medium, or large aluminum table?
+Eddie Smith I don't believe Trekology makes it in different sizes
+Eddie Smith I stand corrected...may have started offering it since I got this one. I believe this is the large

@@Campgeeks they offer 3 sizes
I would think you should try it out before you do a review. This is unfortunately not helpful.
Thanks for the review!
