I'd been wondering if you would ever pop back up after all this time, and low and behold :) I'm glad to see you back and so happy, I'm glad life's treated you well, 2 years sure can make a huge difference. while I was watching i got to thinking about where I was when your last video was posted and how things have changed. I was unemployed and behind on my rent and on the verge of being evicted, whereas now I've been employed for just short of 2 years, managed to keep my flat (apartment) and ive quit smoking, on top of which I've been eating healthier and much more active. a hell of a lot can happen without you really noticing huh? anyway, hope to see more videos soon :D

I heard about ASMR just a few days ago, and have watched a few of them, and I have thought about sounds and colors and being Present in the world around us. I found this video and I guess I was intrigued by the context, the curiosity related to what happened and the decision behind stepping away from videos, and then make a new video about that whole process. For years upon years, I have avoided making videos on UA-cam that are publicly available (i am on mobile device and can't see here whether I post here as DLTQ or Raymond K). It was the few haters that got to me, and there was the collision between my online and offline life. I actually started videoblogging "pre-youtube" and I attended the first VloggerCon in January 2005 in NYC as one of very few people from Europe. I guess my point here is: Thank you for sharing. It inspired me myself to at least Think about making videos again, and I guess I want to make videos that are Meditations on Sound. And Image. And the combination of the two. I now realize that there was this hidden thread in my old videos about that. Sound. Not ASMR; I had no idea about that then, or tingles. But sound in it's pure form definitely had something to do with it. So, I will end this public comment by once again giving thanks. Be well! Enjoy your life, do your thing, and have no regrets :)

My dad was recently in the hospital for chronic pain/arthritis issues....definitely scary to see him in rough shape and not knowing how to fix it. I hope your pain issues can stay under control.. Dimples is back, pleased that you've returned. Recently I've returned to oil paintings after months of taunting from an 8 by 5 foot canvas, such a relief to get back into the groove- hopefully making videos again will have a similarly positive affect on your head space.

I think I discovered your channel some time after you stopped posting videos and wondered for a while as to what happened. I assumed that you like many people on the internet where bullied off for creating something wonderful ): It saddens me to hear that you got unwanted attention outside of youtube for your work. I have a drunk gaming/anime review channel that i'm trying to get started up with my roommates and one of them doesn't ever want to show her face because she fears the torrent of creeps that would come out of the wood work to harass her. But I'm glad to hear that your doing wonderfully. It helps to take a step back and focus on your self for a bit for a while before jumping back into a hobby with a fresh new outlook. As a fellow content producer, a fan of your videos, and fellow Milwaukee resident I can relate to a lot of this, I have recently gone through a similar thing and it certainly is off putting. Always enjoyed your videos, help me fall asleep to this day. Things can get weird with fans some times it's best to be straightforward upfront. I am so glad you returned! I definitely wondered where you went, but I figured it was because of college. I can't even tell you how happy I am you are back. Your absence was like losing a really cool friend to their parents moving away, or something.
I recently graduated college as well, and while I did have to move back with my parents, things are looking up. Ultimately I've really learned how to enjoy the journey. Super cheesy, but very true.

I heard about ASMR just a few days ago, and have watched a few of them, and I have thought about sounds and colors and being Present in the world around us.
I found this video and I guess I was intrigued by the context, the curiosity related to what happened and the decision behind stepping away from videos, and then make a new video about that whole process.
For years upon years, I have avoided making videos on UA-cam that are publicly available (i am on mobile device and can't see here whether I post here as DLTQ or Raymond K). It was the few haters that got to me, and there was the collision between my online and offline life. I actually started videoblogging "pre-youtube" and I attended the first VloggerCon in January 2005 in NYC as one of very few people from Europe. I guess my point here is: Thank you for sharing. It inspired me myself to at least Think about making videos again, and I guess I want to make videos that are Meditations on Sound. And Image. And the combination of the two. I now realize that there was this hidden thread in my old videos about that. Sound. Not ASMR; I had no idea about that then, or tingles. But sound in it's pure form definitely had something to do with it. So, I will end this public comment by once again giving thanks. Be well! Enjoy your life, do your thing, and have no regrets :)

My dad was recently in the hospital for chronic pain/arthritis issues....definitely scary to see him in rough shape and not knowing how to fix it. I hope your pain issues can stay under control..

Recently I've returned to oil paintings after months of taunting from an 8 by 5 foot canvas, such a relief to get back into the groove- hopefully making videos again will have a similarly positive affect on your head space.

I think I discovered your channel some time after you stopped posting videos and wondered for a while as to what happened. I assumed that you like many people on the internet where bullied off for creating something wonderful ): It saddens me to hear that you got unwanted attention outside of youtube for your work. I have a drunk gaming/anime review channel that i'm trying to get started up with my roommates and one of them doesn't ever want to show her face because she fears the torrent of creeps that would come out of the wood work to harass her.
But I'm glad to hear that your doing wonderfully. It helps to take a step back and focus on your self for a bit for a while before jumping back into a hobby with a fresh new outlook. Welcome back Violet!

As a fellow content producer, a fan of your videos, and fellow Milwaukee resident I can relate to a lot of this, I have recently gone through a similar thing and it certainly is off putting. Always enjoyed your videos, help me fall asleep to this day. Things can get weird with fans some times it's best to be straightforward upfront. Sorry to hear about the bad times and thanks for coming back.

I swear to god I knew this would happen, my favourite asmr sound in the world is you playing with that little tripod, and I watched it the other day for the first time in a while. And it's like when you see a word for the first time, then you see in twice again unrelated. So glad you're back, your voice and dimples are the absolute greatest!
