The poignancy of our pain and the ways in which we cope define us just as much as the ways in which we love. Listening to you describe sunrise in the baggage claim while waiting for your friend to appear was really quite beautiful. For both the pain and the love expressed in your story.
Funniest thing about Paris is the density of crepe stands per city block. I figure the average is around 10-12. And they are absolutely amazing. Glad you had a lovely trip!! Welcome back Vi.
Yeah it's been 3 years since whisper crystal has posted, I found her 2 years ago, there was one person who found an article that thought she died in an accident where she fell down the stairs but nothing is confirmed.
Vi! I love hearing travel experience rambles :) I totally get that feeling of remembering a place you first visited after returning years later and all the feelings associated with that time period.
You are quite excellent at bringing people with you on a journey through story telling. I was listening to this last night and normally with ASMR I tend to listen to the way things are said rather than the content, but then again, I didn't have visual stimuli at the time (just the audio), so having that filter on the senses probably forced me to visualise what you were describing in more detail - the consequence of that is that I couldn't get to sleep, but it didn't really bother me all that much. Sounded like a great time was had.
