Is there no other tutorial videos on this one out there? Extremerate send me stuff no review all the time and had no idea of this kit, so thought last night why don't I make a quick and easy install guide, I've tried to be as detailed as possible explaining the tiny letters on the parts 😁

Yeah they work on any game, you can turn them on and off. I'm more of a PlayStation person, I've got actual digital triggers in my pad rather than stops, you can get digital triggers for the Xbox controller but believe there's soldering involved which puts people off

I bought it especially for my shooting games. (Call Of Duty). And when the trigger is pressed, it does not. Unless I press super hard, which is awkward 😒 HELP!

It's the extremerate Hope kit, if you go on Amazon and search extremerate xbox series it'll pop up, I did a video for them on here if you search their channel
i just installed them they work great apart from my right trigger (RT) it works but it now makes a loud clicking noise any advice on how to fix this or is it normal after taking apart a controller
It's on Amazon but unavailable, I think they'll release the install video then put them live on Amazon. They uploaded a video today but it was for grips on the Nintendo Switch, maybe tomorrow they'll drop it? I've had a load of messages asking when it's coming 😄

@@thomashills7761 So LB and RB don't work in game at all? Can you slide the little slider freely? To enable the stops? I'm a little lost as nothing can really go wrong with these, they're only meant to stop you pressing all the way down on the back triggers
@@CraigsChannel they function as trigger stops but when pressed in shooting games no ads and no trigger fire same with driving games work once deactivated but not upon activation Xbox controller is updated and fully charged and synced to console the selector is stiff but they are fresh so I get that but not to shoot aim or drive in cod / Forza back in the box for now
@@CraigsChannel yeh it’s really odd. The left trigger works fine, it allows you to zoom / ADS with no issues. But if you try to fire your weapon with RT - nothing happens. When driving you get a sort of half speed of the vehicle. It’s a real shame as the katana blade slashes work but firing guns seems to require more of a press of the RT button, so the trigger stop is pretty useless for this game unfortunately
This mods the easiest I've ever had to do, I've tried explaining in as much detail as possible. The back button kit on the other hand is hard work, I've just finished making the video for eXtremerate. You have to solder about 20 points on the two boards it comes with... if you haven't soldered before it's going to be a super hard mod for people who want back buttons on the Xbox
I couldn't record the soldering part so seeing if they'll edit the soldering bit into the video. If they don't want it for their main channel I'll just use it on here. It's a shame you can't fit the kit without soldering, as I feel people might come into major issues or hurt themselves, even stupid me burnt my finger index finger, you can see the war wound on this video 😄
@@CraigsChannel before I got the extremerate back buttons for the ps5, I done a back button installation on my ps5 controller that required soldering and drilling, it was a nightmare. You need a steady hand to solder, which I do not have.
@@ukdondappa I think I know the kit you mean I seen it on eBay, you have bigger balls than me to try something like that 😄 I just like the simple kits. The PS5 I didn't have an issue with, but needing so much soldering on the Xbox will definitely put people off
Easiest mod I've ever done lol. I made a back button install kit for extreme for their channel for the Xbox controller. You've got to do so much soldering, probably an easy job for a man of your soldering skills, but I struggled a little ngl. Hope you're well my friend 😁
They sent me quite a few things for the Xbox in the post a few days ago, I didn't even realise what these were until I looked inside the bag. If they don't want the back button video I'll just use it on my channel. I think I either need a new solder tip or to re tin mine, I never hardly use it. Good to hear you're well. Any more mod idea?

I sent Extremerate the video 8 days ago, they said they didn't want to release it until stock was on Amazon. They said all the stock will arrive this week, so fingers crossed it'll drop any day now

No problem, if you're not into soldering go on eBay type in something like xbox series back buttons and there's kits you can attach to the back of the pad

Anxiously waiting the HOPE remap kit video! Can't decide right now if I'll try to solder it myself or wait for an already assembled version on Hex Gaming Controllers!
I sent the video over to eXtremerate yesterday, let's see if they use mine or their own! Have you soldered before? If you know the basics you'll be ok, but if it's your first time it could be a real challenge. My second attempt on my other controller went a lot smoother, the first one I did but was scared in case I melted the printed ribbon board
@@CraigsChannel Yeah I've done a couple of soldering before but it's something I don't have a lot of practice with, I'm worried I might screw It up... One of the things I'd like to see is How the remap soldering interacts with the clicky kit soldering, I don't know for now if they will use the same soldering points
If you've already got the Clicky installed you'd be best removing them two solders on each side, fit the back button kit, then adding the clicky after as the back button printed ribbon board needs to go underneath
If you mean like say you're driving a vehicle in Warzone? If so no, you'll go slower, you'll need to turn them off If you drive a vehicle. Or if you play Forza and want full throttle response
@@Serock2k6 As in digital triggers? Yeah they've got a kit already like that. I was going to install it to my Xbox controller with back buttons but I've just been a little busy. I personally prefer the Clicky over these adjustable triggers
Did you see the back button kit I did for extremerate? They've added it to their main channel as people prefer me to so commentary, seems to help people. I'll try get the clicky video done today or tomorrow, like I say I've just been full of busy

😄 Are you planning on getting one? I've got my PS5 obviously but seen an Xbox on a good deal so just thought 'what the hell' and bought it, mines just the Series S but I've got Games Pass for another 15 months, so plenty games to keep me busy

@@Usernameu02 If you've soldered before give it a go, it's not the hardest thing in the world, but annoying if you don't get all the test points 100% soldered because it won't work, the little test board that comes with it is really handy
They sent me a bunch of things, I didn't even notice until earlier I've got the digital triggers, so I'll be fitting them as well. These trigger stops are good for people who don't want to open their pads, but for people like me who open all theirs pads, digital triggers are a must 😄
@@CraigsChannel extremerate has really delivered good products. Especially the compatibility between all the mods is a nice thing. I have only played with trigger stops on an Xbox 360 scuf, do they feel good and is it a must have when u play preferably shooter games ?
@@xepicly Trigger stops are ok, but digital triggers are so much better, I've been using them for over a year now so they're pretty much the norm for me. I just don't like travel in my back buttons unless I'm playing Forza. CoD is my main game so love to have DT it means I can shoot pistols super fast and feel I'm more responsive in gunfights

They actually just released the back button video on their channel what I did the commentary for. I love the red PS5 controller, I own the white and black one but would like a red to go with the collection

The slide bit so you mean, then are really hard to slide to start, then they get easier

The only thing with these trigger stops is they're hard to turn on and off.

No it shouldn't click, I'd remove it and double check it's in right or the little pieces are correct it shouldn't make any noises at all

The RT and LT work but don't register trigger press once activated
Got some and fitted them with ease. They are great but don’t work with cyberpunk for shooting??? Really odd tbh

The Xbox is crazy, I'd never done one before. Was shocked when I found out they had two boards. All the soldering I think will scare people
