I used to put the bosses wallet on the brake pedal to check brake lights , worked every time .
😂
Passed today! This video is one. Thanks guys!
Hi Chris, excellent news on the pass! Glad you found the video useful! :)
Thanks for making these videos. I scraped a pass in my mod 4 today... it was quite tricky. I found I was doing the daily walk-round check then got confused and started checking for illegals! There's a lot to remember, so don't hurry. If you're not fully answering the question the examiner (mine did!) will probably ask "Is there anything else...?" Phew.
I think at the end of the day they are looking for signs you're a competent person who is taking it seriously, and understand in the stress of the exam some minor checklist items may be forgotten.
Good luck, folks!
And again BIG THANKS to ETT for putting these videos together. Without you I wouldn't be starting my new job next week!
Hi Paul, so glad you have found the video's helpful and congratulations on passing your Module 4 test! All the best with the new job!
When I done my PCV he asked anything else during a question and I went through a mental check list out loud. I said no I can't think of anything else so thought I'd failed. I got 100% and so asked why he said that, he smiled as he was pulling my pisser.
Anyhow I have to go through it all again in 2 weeks for my hgv
Got my mod 4 end of the week. This video is on point no life stories. Thanks
Really glad that the video's are doing the job! Good luck for your Mod 4 test!
Really helpful video. Plenty of information and great demonstration. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your positive feedback.
Thank you. That was really helpful to me
Thanks for the positive comment Reza! :)
Love the professionalism after you threw your pen at the lorry! HAHA!
Professionalism is his middle name! :)
Thank you for the video I have my test tomorrow and I find it hard to memorize things as I suffer from anxiety. Fingers crossed my mind don't go blank
Hi Lee,
Just try to relax and take your time with your answers.
Best of luck!
I passed with 95% thank u guys
@@leearmstrong4962 awesome news! Well done Lee.
What about spray suppression ie mud guards
Spray suppression does not feature on your Mod 4 walk round check list but you can mention it if you feel it necessary.
What about the window screen demister
Hi, its not necessary to demonstrate the windscreen de-mister.
Does no-one check engine oil and coolant levels these days? I was taught to do that first back in the 1990's
Hi, unfortunately with the technological advances of vehicles these days, oil and coolant level checks, whilst still necessary are required far less frequently.
I was taught that too, especially if you are in a different truck every day because you don't know when it was last checked. Engines are expensive, checking oil is free.
Who gives us the checklist for this question
Hi Mike, the checklist will be provided to you when you arrive for your test.
@@enterprisetransporttraining cool thanks how can I contact you need some help
@@Nighttrunker Give the office a call on 0161 494 2836 and one of the team should be able to help.
Actually you got in the cab wrong I think. You should throw your paperwork onto the driver's seat, climb up, then with both feet and one hand holding you throw the paperwork/clipboard onto the centre console, then get in the driver's seat I reckon.
Haha yes maybe! Lets just say that the 3 points of contact is the main thing. If you stand on your paperwork, so be it :)
Tail gate,back door??
The back door does not feature on your Mod 4 walk round check list but you can mention it if you feel it necessary.
@@enterprisetransporttraining so it's basically lorry checks ,how would we not check the backdoor fuel cap or tacho is working..
Tacho????
You are not required to demonstrate anything to do with the Tacho on your Mod 4 test. The only thing you may want to mention is that you would check that it is calibrated by checking the calibration plate in the cab.
