Haero Kitebro 89

The brand new landboard deck from Haero is truly exceptional! We collaborated to create the ultimate deck. This video is from my first session on the production version of the deck.
While the shape of the new Haero landboard deck may seem familiar, there are notable differences that make it the best shape I've ever experienced. Immediately noticeable are the wider feet areas and concave under foot, which provide an unparalleled connection to the board. The deck connects perfectly to your feet when you need it to, while still allowing for smooth execution of all your favourite board off tricks. The concave also makes turning effortless.
With the new Haero landboard deck, you now have a range of stance options available for the first time ever. This enables you to easily adjust your feet position to your preferred setting.
When it comes to construction, the Haero landboard deck sets the new standard. With features such as ABS sidewalls and a slidebase, you can rest assured that you're getting the very best in terms of durability and performance. The deck is also super light.

Would you usually have issues riding smaller boards? There are some extra stance options on this board which means you can move your feet inwards away from the wheels (obviously you'd have a shorter stance though)
Another thing that helps is the wider feet area so it may be a little more comfy too.

what size kite were you flying that day and how windy was it?
I still have my Trampa Kite deck in the shed.. how would this board compare.

Hi Brendan!
The session was a long time ago now but I was on the 18m in about 12mph from what I remember. I am very underpowered in this video.
In terms of how it comes to a Trampa... Both boards are very different. The Haero is low to the ground with a mix of concave in different directions (in my eyes giving you a much better feel and connection) whereas the Trampa is high from the ground with only concave in one direction. Both boards are bullet proof... You'd do well to break either. They just have different approaches to solving this.
Weight wise the Haero deck is the same as a 11 ply HolyPro (the smallest Trampa) but is a much stiffer board (I'd have to ask a Trampa rider to compare).
Both Kris and Dave have left the Trampa team to ride the new Haero board. There is also a kids version which is even lighter and probably stiff enough for an adult if you like a flexible deck.
