Sir I think fictitious assets are not amortized rather write off since this word is used only for intangible assets or in the payment of loan.though the meaning is to kill but I think write off is more appropriate one

In my view tangible asset is something which has same value irrespective of ownership, but value of intangible asset change with change in hand. For example Brand value of Reliance Industries will change if Ambanis step out.

If you take the other options other than term life insurance in life insurance you'll get the insurance receivables..
It's not at all recommended to not take term insurance..
