Hello Mukul Ji,
Thanks for the nice video series on Profitability Ratios.
In this video, you mentioned that ROE doesn't exposes impact of debt on earnings. That is why you are recommending to use ROCE to understand the impact of debt.
In that case, in my humble opinion, while calculating ROCE, one needs to consider Profit Before Tax or PBT (which also includes deduction of interest as impact of debt) in the numerator. In that case, at 10:40 minutes in the video, 60 lakhs should have been considered in numerator instead of EBIT or PBIT which is 80 lakhs.
Am I missing something in my calculations?
Thanks
Thanku, nice video, how to calculate for 5 years

Debt Service Coverage Ratio ka video hai ?
Nice explaination of ROCE. Would have been more useful if manipulation of calculation have also been expressed.
That means roce of relianceindustries is less than interest rates?
Awesome lecture sir...Nicely done!!
And sir as per accountancy it says Borrowed fund is cheaper than shareholders fund...But why sir?
Because shareholders expect more returns on their money. More than loan interest.
Asset Yogi sir...But if a company take too much debt to reduce shareholders fund...It may harmful to this company...And it also increases debt-equity ratio...Then what to do sir?
@@TheTapabrata this is the reason why companies wont get successful without taking risk
मुकुल जी अच्छी कंपनी का ROCE कितना होना चाहिए । 🙏🏻
