    My bathroom fan exhaust was making some wheezing noises, like metal on metal light grinding, it was indeed the motor bearings. Contrary to this video, you DO NOT need to replace the motor. If you're remotely handy, you can open up the motor, which I did (and had no prior experience with), managed to remove the bearings and replace them with the correct ones following the bearing number code (in my case 608-ZZ) and found a bearing store/parts store nearby. New ones, boom. No noise. Didn't save much money or time (saved like 55$) but definitely saved an item from going into the landfill!

    Nice video but I would rather perfer replacing both of the fan motors at the same time
