I own one of these and I love it. when watching ANY car review you need to understand that a lot of these reviewers drive, BMW, Mercedes, Ferrari, etc ... so they can be really picky because they are spoiled....but I went from a 2012 Pickup to this jeep and I love it 100% because it is so much better.
I just got mine! It is going to take Me awhile to learn all of the features. I just traded a 2005 Grand Cherokee that I have driven forever and I loved that Jeep!
im looking to get that same spec tomorrow, is the v6 a big difference? I have a 2016 limited i4, I will also be gaining 4x4... did you get the moon roof?
I'd narrowed my search down to a new Cherokee or a year-old Lincoln MKC. Cherokee has the better off-road and general 4wd cred, while I like the look and feel, inside and out, of the MKC better, and it's perfectly fine for snowy street conditions and light (okay, very light) off-road duty. Kinda leaning towards the new Cherokee, my only reservations are about reliability.
My wife has one overall decent but the window noise is now a top list concern for any future car purchase. Also the tire pressure gauge is very sensitive which i guess is good but annoying cause every other month shes asking me about it. It shifts poorly does alot of hunting. Kinda what to expect of any car with a bunch of gears. Beside those things tho drives smooth seats are nice .
@@mikemccoll4893 I disagree,i bought the 2019 limited, and you should drive the 2.0,it's really quick and fun to drive.it has turbo lag at times when you let up and begin to take back off but i can live with it.they are blaming it on the 9 speed transmission,i don't know why,it's clearly a hesitation in the engine upon a stopping situation, when you take back off,it has turbo lag,not transmission problems.but i love mine.i can leave the v6's sitting in the dust, they are quick.
Saw a video earlier that left me wondering. Learned a lot from your review. Still would like to see the rear tail lights on. They appear not to be shaded by the traditional red tint covering. Would this car be considered a "smart" car? Next time pls spend more time on the center screen-specifics of navigation (does it speak, how to program, etc), SiriusXM radio functions, phone features-ability to call, receive calls, text, streaming, etc). Dealership salespeople brush over these functions during the sales process and the buyer is then forced to learn by trial and error after the purchase. Anything you can do to help further is appreciated.
Yes they will and once you sign it's yours,i was left w/o a option i wanted and was led to believe it had it,so do your own research, and do it well, don't depend on the sales people.the sales people are sitting at their desk on their cell phones instead of learning the new features of these newer cars.i went thru so much trouble and aggravation because of options, there isn't hardly anyone that knows or understands the options, and a lot of the service people are just as ignorant to the options,so do your own research.
One of the most unusual feature of this vehicle is that there is no gas cap. Would have been worth a mention since you took the trouble to open the fuel hatch.
@@tydrives4846 Yes it's become common,i personally wish they hadn't done this, you could clean it so much easier without having to worry about hitting that little spring loaded nozzle seal.
I have a question please if you know tell me about it... i bought a cherokee 2019 that does not include ParkAssist feature, lanesensors and side warning ⚠️ on mirrors, however, can i customize it the car and include these features ? Or these is no way i can put in and that i should’ve had ordered from beginning ??
So I test drove one of these this past weekend. Loved everything inside, comfortable seats, arms rested naturally on the left and right and the display and touchscreen is amazing. Alas, all was for naught once I actually started driving it..........the nine speed transmission is, in my opinion, a liability as the car can't decide which gear it wants to run in....up, down, up, down. Also some troubling "clunky" sounds when shifting into gear. Finally really disappointed in power climbing some of these small WV hills.
Does it have a sunroof?? I’ve watched sooo many review videos and not one has mentioned a sunroof, but my car dealer guy says he has one that’s a 2019 limited with one. I’m going to look at this jeep in a week. I have a 2013 Chevy Malibu at this time and I’m so torn between parting with it or keeping it because really I’m having no issues with my current, it’s just still low mileage and a good time to trade in but I’m TORN plz help lol
Why has the destination charge increased from $995 to $1445? The family purchased a car in 2017 and early 2018 and this charge was $995. Why the increase?
I was reading an article about it a few months ago and I forgot what the reason was. I’ll have to find out for you. Even audis that come completely wrapped in a cloth cover and completely wrapped interior still aren’t that expensive to ship.
This jeep cherokee misses allot of good feautures and specs, such as Lanesensors, autopark assist, crash colission, however it can be customized and implemented

You didn't drive other SUVs like the BMW or you would love your Jeep even more, you made the right choice

I just got this one. It's awesome! Thing hauls ass too.
I got this car cherokee Limited 3.2 Liter V6 engine and 4X4 its absolutely the best car i’ve ever driven

Thank you. This video was great m, very detailed. My jeep will be ready this weekend and this video helped me understand the features. ❤
I love this in-depth video! It inspired me to go to Crowley and look into buying the 2019 Jeep Cherokee Limited!
That’s great news!! If you wind up buying one make sure you tell Kevin the sales manager I helped you out. Hope everything works out for you.
I am getting this car love it
I got it and I love it.
congrats!

I love the 19 Cherokee, the MKC not so much. Drive both of them and see which one you feel more comfortable with, that’s my suggestion

Horsepower is 270 for the 2.0 L turbo, 271 for the V6, better mileage with the Turbo though
More power overall with the 2.0 and better mileage. It has 56 lb-ft of torque more than the V6.
Better mileage of 2.0 turbo more than cancelled by the cost of the premium gas it requires . The V6 is a better value overall .

Lots of newer cars do not have gas caps.

Wondering if you drove one with the base 2.4 L 4 cylinder. I haven't heard this problem with the 2.0 L turbo charged engine.

Thanks for your response. When you find the answer, please share. With costs rising on everything, I'm interested to understand the rationale.
You need to negotiate that charge because delivery doesn't cost them more that 500
Nice but I wouldn't want the turbo the 3.2 V6 is far better
Mine is that

He said 'spare tire'. Is it a compact spare or real spare tire? I don't want to go off road without a REAL spare tire.
Tom Smeal it's a full sized extra tire
Get the trailhawk.
