What happens when typically open barrel racers hit a rodeo? Barrels blew but money also made.. for half of the olyschlager team that is - and that would be my mom and her golden boy jagger. They are good at pulling some cash, I can’t fault them. As my grey horse hardly took two of her half thoroughbred strides and we were nearly halfway to the third barrel. And the pen was so small we didn’t go by the first we went straight past it.
It was a fun time and we learnt some things. For me it’s that next rodeo which is this weekend I am taking my 4 year old.. might sound crazy but he is cool and I think he will handle the small rodeo pens.
Maybe barb will be in poles soon. I decided I want to get into the pole game again, like take it serious not just a few random times at home.
